You must be a physicist. Real world amp building is a catalog of compromises. Some cans have very demanding impedance profiles, and there are amps which are better suited to those types of cans.
And I echo Purk's statement. Although this may not be what he was trying to say, "wire with gain" sounds like the "accuracy" school of thought -- that is certainly not the only school of thought, and just because you don't fall in with these other schools does not mean amp builders won't still cater to them.
Steven Wilson live at Wiltern Theater, LA, 13-06-2015 -- so far this seems to be a verbatim performance to the one I saw last year, including the between-song banter.
Yeah, exactly. I've been East coast my entire life, but the Airplane and early Starship still epitomized the hippie sound that I associate with California hippie music.
This is probably my favourite song by them:
RIP Paul Kantner (guitarist, Jeffersons Airplane and Starship)
Him -- he went by 'Black'. And it's like the opposite of the Cardigans' "Love Fool" (the latter being the saddest happy sounding song, the former being the happiest sad sounding song) -- the lyrics aren't that melancholy, that's why I said a touch. Also to explain why I liked the song so much.
Lollers -- the fable of the tiger with a thorn in its paw, except human/toothpick/etc.
I am sympathetically relieved -- someone else that I knew who had diabetes ended up losing toes to gangrene, so take that shit seriously in the future.
The K701 is fine, it does not belong on this list. The only reason I don't have one is because it doesn't do anything any of my other phones do.
The Beyer T1 needs very good amplification to sound its best.
The OP is shameful in its arrogance.
20 seconds to make a judgment? Disqualified.
So I made the mistake of choosing stew beef for the beef -- is there a way to tenderize it, or a preferred way of cooking it that will make it more tender? Low and slow or hot and fast? And next time, what sort of beef should choose (besides the obvious -- "stir fry beef" -- which I believe they do have).
I apologize if any of these are repeats, I'm beginning to lose track:
Jimmy Bain (Rainbow, Dio, bassist)
Dale Griffin (Mott the Hoople, drummer)
Black (singer/songwriter)
I always thought this song had a touch of melancholy
That was painful to watch.
My sister can drive better than that (in anything).
(Notice I didn't say me -- I'm not as good a driver as my sister...not because she's had special training or anything, but JUST BECAUSE SHE LIVES IN ALASKA [and practices donuts in empty parking lots].)
