  1. Ciara's "Dance Like We're Making Love" -- uh, Wayne, you may want to see this. I'll be in my bunk.
  2. Skye turned one recently...alright, like over a month ago, but still...recently. Her gotcha day was 7/9. I missed it. I still have her.
  3. I usually go through the interface. It's usually quarantined (albeit, not in the Windows system folder), and you just go to quarantined items and delete them from within there. I don't know what F-Secure is.
  4. To get you to buy the paid version? (I used the free version, then switched to the paid version, myself. But I'm also not as sure about what any of them caught and what they didn't. I am definitely of the mind to do a full install when I suspect something.)
  5. Yup, I've used BitDefender, in fact, I should probably go back. I think we've gotten to the point where an AV is only as good as its target profile, I.E. if the hackers are targetting it more or less. If less, then it's a better AV. Which is loosely correlated to how popular it is, hence why Norton and McAfee aren't as effective as they used to be -- because they're the most popular. And if not, at least it's a major factor.
  6. It's the gay agenda! http://liberaldarkness.com/2015/07/23/genetically-engineered-beluga-whales-are-attacking-christian-families-with-homosexual-chemtrail-water-at-seaworld/
  7. Well, they're both in black, so moot point either way. And I did know that about desert tribes!
  8. You'll do great, Jacob!
  9. Jupiter Society -- totally dig this. It's not as metal as Leprous, so not sure why they listed it as similar. It's more "hard prog" in the typically bombastic vein. Melikey.
  10. What could possibly go wrong? Comments include: "Take the flag off...slowly." "At least bring it to half mast." "Melanoma?"
  11. I like the way you think, but ( a ) if you look in the consumerism thread, I already purchased the C-7 or whatever it's called, and ( b ) I'd be afraid I'd accidentally pick a paint that somehow interfered with RF or cooling or something else I hadn't thought of. That'd be just my luck.
  12. I should probably check my hotmail account...I do see an update to the TOU&PS, from back in June. And yes it says Outlook.com at the top, but the interface still looks like the live.com interface I was used to (which is the only one I ever use, as it's an extremely low traffic account). But unlike you, I have almost zero email coming here. Sorry, I got nuthin' useful for you.
  13. Actually, this one appears to be accurate to 0.0001" and goes to 12", so yeah, think I'm going with that one purchased. EDIT: Although one report said thousandth of an inch, which is 0.001", so might get a little more tight on the high E string, so...we'll see.
  14. Thanks. $50 and they have it in black. Purchased. Now I need a new router.
  15. Probably going with this one, yeah? EDIT: I should probably make sure it's accurate enough to differentiate between string gauges, though, so maybe not. If it's between 6-8 inches, I don't need string gauge accuracy, I need measuring tape accuracy, neh? Or will an accuracy of 0.001" make it prohibitively expensive?
  16. Thanks everyone! Good advice! No, since I'll be doing some stuff on 7- and 8- (and maybe even 9-, eventually) -string guitars, 8" sounds like a good idea.
  17. Technically, it's not water. And it's not really jacuzzi-ing, either, as that would result in more like a soup. It's like jacuzzi-ing with an hermetically sealed skinsuit. Which doesn't sound anywhere near as appealing. In fact, now it sounds more like a horror movie. "Boiled Sous vided alive!"
  18. I can stream Mixlr at work! So I'm going to listen to a bunch of Knucks' showreels.
  19. <stickler>It's not boiling meat, it's jacuzzi-ing meat.</stickler>
  20. I need a caliper for my guitar experimentation. Is there a better value out there than this one? I see this one on Amazon -- any good?
  21. Happy birthday, Antonio! (party favour noise)
  22. Bill Burr, I'm Sorry You Feel That Way -- fluctuates a little bit, but for the most part, very funny. I especially liked the shit about .22 -- I am sanctified!
  23. I do love it. I love Riverside. I was putting together a list of bands that I would like to see if they ever cross the pond: The Sirens, Pineapple Thief, Riverside, and Pain of Salvation (and I'm sure there are others). I missed Pain of Salvation -- they were actually here recently, I didn't think to look in time.
  24. I did it, I did it! Oh, and my particular venue (Canal Club in Richmond, VA, in case you want to follow along at home) is general admission, so best possible position will be obtained the night of the performance, assuming I don't forget. (I totally spaced on Calexico, after I purchased tickets.) A friend of mine made me get this (because it's such a crazy good value) -- is that the same second disk?
