This show is so fucking brilliant. I mean, it's a comedy, but they way they have the interleaving storylines from show to show, by changing the perspective, it's fucking brilliant. And using those repeated music cues -- "Sound of Silence", the Peanuts melancholy Christmas special music...
Just amazing.
Exactly. I even say it in high Monty Python faux-lady voice.
Thanks. I probably needed a minor medical emergency to start taking better care of my health, so as long as nothing else happens, it's for the better. I already feel my muscle base coming back -- it's not a six-pack, but maybe a six-pack under a couple of down blankets. With cosies.
And more importantly, it requires patience. Which puts you in the minority. Which means you're not part of the "voting with your wallet" masses, and have zero influence on the matter.
I'm going to give an unloaded shotgun to a baby. A loaded shotgun implies that they couldn't think for themselves or suss out the consequences of HOW FUCKING STUPID IT IS TO STOP EATING.
You know what? I take that back. People that are stupid enough to think they can live on light deserve to die. They need to stop polluting our gene pool.
God. Damn. Stupidity pisses me off. I'm going to have another one. I am.
Orbital, Pusher soundtrack -- the great washes of synths and delicate plunky-wunkies are a nice break from the other great washes of synths and delicate plunky-wunkies (Namlook fan contributions)
Pfff...have you checked out pens or cameras or microphones...headphones are still a pretty decent deal.
Oh, wait a minute, you were talking about father's day gifts...which are pens and cameras and whatnot....never mind.
Rawk on, let your freak flag fly.
Me: moar Helloween -- goddamn, I love good power metal. Also Lollers @ Unarmed -- the version of Dr. Stein, in particular, is particularly silly fun. And they still "got it", IMHO -- they still write good tunes, they didn't start and end with Keeper...
Yeah, I can see how that'd be the case. I do most of my listening in the near field, and (in your cases) it's could be the exact same amount of treble, but for some reason when it's diffuse (which even 10 feet will do), it's more tolerable.
's'truth -- I have a friend who's no longer a diabetic because she got a pancreas transplant.
And: what everyone else has said -- kudos for doing documentably positive work. Makes my eyes well up.
Do I look like I give a flying fuck about wine? Does this penis look like it gives a flying fuck...okay, that's probably the wrong way to phrase that question...
