Yeah, I can see how that'd be the case. I do most of my listening in the near field, and (in your cases) it's could be the exact same amount of treble, but for some reason when it's diffuse (which even 10 feet will do), it's more tolerable.

"Child of Vision" is a great song (I love songs like that, that are >50% instrumental -- also, "Crime of the Century", title track), but too bad it follows those two (relative) clunkers, "Just Another Nervous Wreck" and "Casual Conversations". Sorry. I think it's that lull at the end of side two that takes this album out of any kind of Top X list for me. Crime of the Century and Even in the Questest Moments... are much better albums. And "Rudy", a live version on the bonus disk, is such a great song. I think it might be their best song. So epic, with all those parts...

This show is the best. I can't even type that without breaking into such a fit of giggles that my eyes water. And Jeff's right -- Isla Fisher is hawt.

Yeah I was going to say I liked everything I've heard by them, but the cheapest thing I've heard by them was their headphones -- and honestly, it didn't strike my pewter ears as that much less bad than the AKG K550's. So I may have only heard their higher end stuff. I still may try it unless I hear a convincing argument not to.
