  1. 10 of those people are peeing right now. And one of them is groping someone.
  2. Welcome to team source material first ueber alles.
  3. I do. As a matter of fact, I should try them at work again. I'm back in the room with the ([relatively] noisy) server.
  4. ¿Que? I mean, I agree with everything else you said, especially the it's bright but I like it part, and sounds better with better ampd and such, I'm just not sure I agree with that one sentence as to why. Sent from mah phone-blet via Tapatalk
  5. (starts humming "Lunatic Fringe"...)
  6. "...so it should be noted that 'scherzo' is the Italian word for 'joke'; Dvorak, then, is simply doing his duty..."
  7. Dvorak's New World Symphony, with commentary by Jeremy Siepmann -- this is highly entertaining. Obviously done with great love of the music, but also kept "light": "The cor anglais, which is sometimes referred to as the English horn, is neither English nor a horn..." .

  9. Filter, The Sun Comes Out Tonight \m/
  10. Happy Birthday, Ben! (party favour noise)
  11. I find it's ugliness endearing.
  12. Love the overhead shot, and lollers at "non-mechanical".
  13. I didn't see any headphones in the pic. For that matter, I didn't see a camera, so I don't know what I was thinking.
  14. Congrats, well done, etc.
  15. Wait, I don't understand, I thought the GS1000 is a camera...
  16. I can't decide if that's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen or the most ugly.
  17. Damnit, they were in town today. Ah well... Me: Portugal. The Man, Evil Friends
  18. Yeah, it's Ghost in the Shell. It's when they first find that the cyberbrain of someone's (someone important -- some minister or ambassador or something) translator or assistant was hacked into. I was just reminiscing how brilliant the movie was, because -- as is true to life on the part of the cops -- they don't get to see the actual crime being committed or even allude to it, they're brought in after the fact. I think it's time for me to watch it again. I watch it every couple years. I know, I'll make Mark watch it. I was always creeped out by the throbbing tube thingy. Was that really necessary?
  19. Makes me wish I played Killing Floor. I love British idioms. "Gormless tosser" Badger theremin FTWTF.
  20. Oh, that's not so bad then. They could have done some clever "reveal" type situations in Cloverfield if they had done something like this.
  21. I don't know if they're worth $4 each, but they're pretty freakin' good.
  22. The Real Deal Veggie Chips, Sriracha flavored -- yummy
  23. Talking Heads, "Born Under Punches"/"Crosseyed and Painless"/"The Big Curve"/"Houses in Motion", both from Remain in Light and from The Name of this Band is... -- quite possibly the greatest quartuple of songs from an album ever. Addictive to a fault.
  24. For the Kickstarter, Enrico Colantoni (who plays Veronica Mars' father) posted his videos in the horrible format. I defended him. It's just a format -- who cares? When Stanley Kubrick shot some of his films in 4:3, he put bars on top and bottom to convert them to widescreen. I consider 4:3 the more correct way to watch those movies. Think of this as some kind of ridiculous Imax. Ric -- to 4K?!?!? What the L did you use as an upscaler/line double/quadrupler/16-tupler/whatever.
  25. "The Island of Doubt It's like the taste of medicine" Talking Heads, "Crosseyed and Painless"
