  1. Laundry. Cleaned my car (mostly). Took a bunch of recycle to the recycle place. Bunch o' other vaguely domestic stuff. (makes a vague "Sunday School" joke)
  2. Yeah, me too. I mean, I understand the benefit of going asynchronous, but other than that, I just don't get it. Most DACses' inputs are just cheap PLL's anyways.
  3. Huzzah! That means we should get it over here across the pond in about 2015.
  4. Happy belated! (party favour noise)
  5. Okay, I think they lost me with the dream sequence. Moving on to Continuum. I really like the casting of Rachel Nichols for the lead in this, she carries just the right combination of toughness and vulnerability. Or maybe she's just disarmingly pretty.
  6. Tinsley Ellis, Get It! -- yeah, I'm pretty much the only one I know who can go from John Foxx (D.N.A.) to Tinsley Ellis, and remain at the same level of enjoyment. Oh yeah, all instrumental. (swoon)
  7. Someone needs to invent a cocktail called "room treatments". Probably should have some chili in it to open up the blood vessels.
  8. I don't get it.[/dusty]
  9. Work off those biscuits!
  10. That'd be funneh if they made it the new interface.
  11. I was listening from the first note. PS Bobby says, 'thank you'.
  12. The Yamaha CS-80. The Arturia ...V series are a series of virtual synthesizers and other keyboards.
  13. This ---^ I recently ran across a list of 10 spooky albums, which of course reminded me that I hadn't yet listened to the new Scott Walker yet. Actually, I can't listen to this right now...not "...and work" at the same time. So putting on some Michael Brook. EDIT: Okay, now I am. My cat's looking at the speakers funny. I hope Knucks is on tonight, I may not be able to listen to this on speakers.
  14. Mmm...
  15. Hemlock Grove -- meh
  16. They rarely try unless they have something concrete to go on. I've turned in a distinct clue on at least two of mine (out of 3 or 4). I knew exactly who it was in both cases, it was just a matter of proof.
  17. Having worked in that exact area, it's wise. Also, allowing for other options like B&H, etc.
  18. Happy Birthday, Dr. Gilmore! (a distinctly undergraduate party favour noise)
  19. You know, like a phono stage.
  20. Yes, exactly. This is exemplary. Literally. If it had happened in the other order, I would have pointed (not literally [well, maybe literally, but since they can't see my finger over email or phone, I would have had to virtually point]) to this incident and said, "this is an example of how it should be handled".
  21. "...inventory error..."
  22. And one of the girls here at the office immediately proclaimed that she liked my haircut.
