  1. various artists, Electric Fantastic Sound -- an international electronic music sampler -- Jeffy, head-sup! groovy synthpop therein
  2. Well, it seems to be a linear progression, so just divide the remaining surface area by the rate of coverage so far...
  3. Except that's all sound absorption, he's doing a lot of diffusion.
  4. So...what? They're hoping that the other two don't make it? :eep: Betting on you, Jacob.
  5. I dig it. Very retro, with some nice experimental touches. Listen for yourself on Pitchfork.
  6. Was: Depeche Mode, Delta Machine -- meh Is: OMD, English Electric
  7. The Booth at the End -- fuck. For a show that is based largely on entirely on dialog, this is one intense show.
  8. So my Bobby has taken to being Harpo Marx, and I don't know how to take a picture of it. Sometimes he sits next to me, but then sometimes he indicates that he wants to be in my lap. So he'll walk onto my lap from the chair next to me, and I'll wrap my arms around him like I'm giving him a hug, and he'll lift one rear leg over my arm, then the front leg, and then just...slump, put all his weight on my arms, and all of a sudden I'm holding him up. Then I'll start giggling, and that will of course irritate him into jumping out of my arms. EDIT: Oh, another thing he's started doing, is the whole walking sideways towards me, back arched, tail and fur all fluffy. I have to laugh. It's better than any sitcom. He just might be the perfect(ly entertaining) kitteh.
  9. (my favourites from informercial gifs the second one's almost a horror film)
  10. Yeah, but not homemade -- I need to start cooking for myself for health reasons
  11. Tangerine Dream, Under Cover -- whoa! I mean, they usually did a cover as an encore (I've heard them do Purple Haze, House of the Rising Sun, Norwegian Wood, and Tomorrow Never Knows), but they were usually instrumental versions -- these are full-on covers with vocals.
  12. Sent frum mah phone-blet using Tapatalk.

  17. Sorry, Knucks, didn't want to give free advertising. As per a certain mathemagician. And of course I agreed with it. Fermilabs yesterday
  18. Well the headphones are cardboard fort is acting as a passive radiator.
  19. Correction, he will not be able to hear anything but the speakers.
  20. They were $835 on HelloMusic.com for about 5 minutes yesterday. Not trying to dissuade you, just giving you a better idea of street for comparison's sake. I understand the desire not to get such highly specialized speakers, when converting non-desktop speakers to desktop speakers is easier.
  21. Bowties are cool.
  22. And yes, we have offered her the pad, but she doesn't take it. So don't know if she can write or not.
  23. CafePress's April Fool's Prank
  24. Yeah, I haven't given up on her. I'm just whining. Mostly because it's just really hard to watch, due to my own recent episode. I still remember how frustrating it was when the nurse would stick her hand in mine and tell me to squeeze, and I would concentrate with all my might to squeeze, thinking it was just a matter of will power, and after a couple seconds, even though I was still trying, she would say, "nothing?" and move on to whatever was next. But in my mom's case, even though I see parallels, I can also see that things are fundamentally different -- she's not paralyzed on either side; she doesn't stammer for answers -- she just keeps right on talking. I wonder if she knows she is not making any sense. She doesn't act like she does.
  25. The Bells of St. John. Like.
