Continuum continues to be all kinds of pleasing. Dan, if you haven't already, you especially should watch this. At least up to episode 4 (which is where I am) -- remember when you said that science fiction should investigate the morality of technology -- well, let's just say I think you'd enjoy this. You have to add in the overhead of malware and you have to realize that I'm a bit of a masochist, so I don't just clean my computer, I try to figure out what happened. I won't even torrent at all. So although downloading -- in and of itself -- is less costly than "waiting for it", it takes more of my time. Much more. I really need to get into Qubes, I think maybe then. EDIT: Okay, that's just silly, I'm watching it.

EDIT: And listening to him play solo piano...I think I found out why I like the Devics so much. He plays piano a lot like I do. Well...a lot better, but similar choices, in terms of notes and chord progressions.

Doug -- whether that was intentional or not, it's the album cover of The Darkness' album, One Way Ticket to Hell...and Back -- I think it's more a visual depiction of the album title.

Okay, I think they lost me with the dream sequence. Moving on to Continuum. I really like the casting of Rachel Nichols for the lead in this, she carries just the right combination of toughness and vulnerability. Or maybe she's just disarmingly pretty.

Tinsley Ellis, Get It! -- yeah, I'm pretty much the only one I know who can go from John Foxx (D.N.A.) to Tinsley Ellis, and remain at the same level of enjoyment. Oh yeah, all instrumental. (swoon)

Someone needs to invent a cocktail called "room treatments". Probably should have some chili in it to open up the blood vessels.
