I finally started walking a couple weeks ago, and have been at least 3x/week about it, but I need to get it up to 7x/week, as per doctor's orders. Prior to that, I was getting zero exercise, so I fully expect to lose volume before I lose weight.

That is definitely not normal behavior for 12AX7's, I would start with that. But it may not be the tubes, so definitely get new tubes to make sure which it is. I mean, if it was Stax, I would understand the farting sounds...

Permanently gave up on Hemlock Grove, although I really liked the Shelley character. Gave up on Vampire Prosecutor, they just lost me with being too hard to follow -- so who was the killer in episode two, were there two? I don't get it. Finished Continuum -- yeah, that was wonderful...um, so is there or isn't there a season two? Started Top of the Lake -- yeah, digging it so far. And Holly Hunter in her best role! Or at least best makeup job. I was really worried she was going to stand out like a sore thumb as being the only recognizable actress but turns out? Not a problem...

Sounds right -- you need to see if there's a way to change the default permissions on your mac when you create a file.

The command is actually umask, and it's the reverse of what you want to set it to, so if you want to make it completely private to you ('owner'), it's umask 077, and if you want to allow others to read but not write, it's umask 022. link And then you set up the command to execute when you first log in as Ben said.
