I just want to reiterate how much I appreciate this alternative. I have as many of my windows set to "submarine colors" as I can, and this is a lot less painful on my eyes. That said, I do recognize that I am more sensitive to light than others, and realize that I am in the minority, so have the choice is the best option.

Yes. Yes you do. It's a little hoppier than batch 1, but still quite good. The birch/maple/whatever is very prominent and mellifluous.

Agreed. The Thunderpants suggestion was if he couldn't find a pair of VTG's, and although harder to drive, I suspect the Pico DAC/Amp is well up to the task. And I think the 4070's would be really hard to drive with a Pico DAC/Amp.
