1. Gojira, From Mars to Sirius -- quite possibly the heaviest thing I listen to, short of Opeth. Bring it. It will be brought. Lead singer has a voice like flaking leather. And every once in a while, the guitarist will throw in this squeal into a riff that somehow always seems perfectly placed. Teutonic (despite being French).
2. Everything Everything, Man Alive -- man, this is strangely enticing. Also, I like their whole "badly downloaded images" thing for the covers, it gives a consistent look to all of them: link
3. Oh, that's John Waters -- I didn't know that. I thought it was to be captioned, "dude, you should watch where you're ... you just Sharpie
4. No, I mean the picture with Bieber. I'm sure I've seen the other one in some kind of porn. "Camel Toe Jam", or something.
5. I don't get the picture.
6. I did not buy this wall of liquor, but if I ever were to take up drinking seriously, this would be one of the first places I'd go. Sorry for the crappy pic.
7. Hey, look at my harbls. HEY, LOOK AT MY HARBLS. OH, THAT'S RIGHT, YOU CAN'T!!!1! MARK MY WORDS, I WILL (eventually) MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT! Maybe later, after you finish scratching me, which will be ... nevar!
8. Yeah, I know, I found it (thanks for posting its name, BTW, Knucks), I was just convinced a long time ago that "just before Christmas" is a really bad time to be getting myself things like this (I am notoriously hard to shop for).
9. Oh, and PS (on topic) I'm reading Broken Angels right now, and one of the characters (Hand) just did a facepalm. Win!
10. You'd be surprised -- I've long since come to the conclusion that I don't understand what goes into the minds of many people (religion, hate, etc.). I would have thought that a lot of that would have gotten burned off long ago, but it seems to just keep the momentum without any sign of neither damping/friction/slowing down, nor of what force is keeping it in motion.
11. Want.
12. In Jacob's case, it'd be, "no, we're just surprised he didn't get caught sooner". All those shovels...
13. There was one amp that I thought the K701 "had good synergy with", but I don't rmemeber...looks like it was the DarkVoice. And I can see it working with the MF X-CANv2. Can't tell you to pay heed to the Heed crede, though, haven't heard it myself. I recommend the place mentioned elsewhere -- Head-Fi.
14. I have a feeling it won't happen -- lack of faster-than-light travel, and all. (Not even going to address the question of whether or not there is life on other planets, I just think it's moot for them, just like it is for us.) I think we're just procrastinators. I mean, at a racial level. When we realize we're going to run out of oil, or accidentally killed one too many key species in the food chain, or accidentally opened the hole in the ozone layer too wide, it is my belief that then we'll finally do something about it. It'll be almost too little too late, but there will be enough survivors to continue.
15. I'm optimistic like that. I mean, what's the alternative?
16. I like whatever AKG uses (whatever that is) and/or whatever is on the Sony Qualia, but I agree with Nate -- I don't see how you can get away with anything not small, and hence not a pain in the ass.
17. I was thinking, "...'cause then she would miss In-n-Out when she got back to NY".
18. ...who appears to have stepped in some bleach. "What do you get when you...?" ...forget the rest of the words. It is at this point, that it almost always transitions into Heavy Horses by Jethro Tull. "...a reign of polished leather. A heavy horse and a tumbling sky...brewing heavy weather..."
19. You know, some time in the future, when we actually have flying cars, and easily live past a hundred, and have abolished poverty, illness, and depression, we're going to look back on this era as the dark ages.

X-box or PS3?

I was going to say (the logical conclusion of that thought) -- if you can find out titles, it's probably just a matter of finding out which titles interests them more, that will probably define the answer. The above is a good place to start.
21. Anna Tsuchiya, Rule -- this rocks. And rules. I guess that makes it rock'n'rule. Case in point:
22. Reminds me of "Fanfare for the Common Man", the first 5 notes of the main theme. EDIT: Maybe you just have tubas on the burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-ain.
23. "Restore" -- "Re-" -- back to the original place, again; "store" -- where you go to spend money; hence, "an excuse to take your money, yet again".

X-box or PS3?

TRS-80. Retro is the new cool.
25. Yeah, they're pretty yummy. My favorites are the multigrain and the olive. The cheddar one is way up there, too, but I can't always eat those.
