  1. I'm looking forward to the reviews on whether or not the CDMA version makes for a better phone, as that's one of the biggest criticisms I've heard (that it doesn't make a good phone).
  2. Nope. CDMA.
  3. I think he meant that it was the worst picture of the finest cake in all the land, because it doesn't make you feel like you are there.
  4. FUck, couldn't see it from my window, but it rained, now it's freezing.
  5. Actually I was thinking more along the lines of the farm animals recently posted. And I left out: (eyes widen)
  6. Snow looks like it might be delayed until after rush hour. (keeps fingers crossed)
  7. Congrats, Birgir!
  8. So who knows how much are we getting? I'm trying to decide to leave with the crowds this afternoon and take 3 hours to get home, or to stay until it stops, taking the chance that I won't be able to go home at all.
  9. No, but I will follow your findings with interest. The dual Xeons seem complete overkill. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  10. No, I think you have about 10 months.
  11. (stops chewing, looks at camera)
  12. The Cape -- I hope you like cheeeeeeeese. ...zuh! But then again, Summer Glau.
  13. Earlier: Smuttynose pumpkin ale -- holding up surprisingly well, but then again, I like pumpkin ales Now: Bell's 25th -- malty^2 goodness...what is that, caramel?
  14. 'Tices'?
  15. I love that movie, it's one of those that I can't stop watching if I stumble across it. Yeah, that album is one of my all time favorite epic 2-record sets.
  16. It sounds to me like you need both. If you need to evaluate cards that only go in a desktop, then you need a desktop. If you need something occasionally portable, then you need a Macbook or a Macbook Pro (or possibly even a Mini). I would suggest modest but not underpowered versions of each. And yes, we run an interracial network here at the office, although I don't know the details as to how, but it can be done. Also, I don't know how powerful the Air is, but it seems ideally suited to music listening applications if it's powerful enough.
  17. "Oooooh-laaaaaaa!"
  18. Yeah, what Augsburger said -- make sure they're properly ventilated, and try not to perspire/cry/sweat/glow so much. Or breath. Moguls are fun. Initially distressing, they're actually easier to take at higher speeds than lower. Mostly so that you don't get someone else's ski in your back, with their foot still in the boot. I miss skiing. Need to lose some volume so that I can go again. It's the closest I'll ever get to hang-gliding, I think.
  19. I think they're called "Photoshopped". And if they're not, they're a lot more than 20 Watts. 23, at least. Although the 10% THD is probably optimistic.
  20. ^ I That track, in particular, is so powerful.
  21. That one in the middle left might be the most amazing costume ever.
  22. Finished this up -- above average.
  23. I don't have a choice in the matter until I clean up my room enough to rearrange things.
