  1. I was thinking, "...'cause then she would miss In-n-Out when she got back to NY".
  2. ...who appears to have stepped in some bleach. "What do you get when you...?" ...forget the rest of the words. It is at this point, that it almost always transitions into Heavy Horses by Jethro Tull. "...a reign of polished leather. A heavy horse and a tumbling sky...brewing heavy weather..."
  3. You know, some time in the future, when we actually have flying cars, and easily live past a hundred, and have abolished poverty, illness, and depression, we're going to look back on this era as the dark ages.

    X-box or PS3?

I was going to say (the logical conclusion of that thought) -- if you can find out titles, it's probably just a matter of finding out which titles interests them more, that will probably define the answer. The above is a good place to start.
  5. Anna Tsuchiya, Rule -- this rocks. And rules. I guess that makes it rock'n'rule. Case in point:
  6. Reminds me of "Fanfare for the Common Man", the first 5 notes of the main theme. EDIT: Maybe you just have tubas on the burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-ain.
  7. "Restore" -- "Re-" -- back to the original place, again; "store" -- where you go to spend money; hence, "an excuse to take your money, yet again".

TRS-80. Retro is the new cool.
  9. Yeah, they're pretty yummy. My favorites are the multigrain and the olive. The cheddar one is way up there, too, but I can't always eat those.
  10. Fillings...nothing more than fillings...trying to forget my...fillings of love... Me: Newman's Own Bavarian Pretzels
  11. Daft Punk, Tron Legacy
  12. I think you mean third thing. And: especially since someone probably died in the making of that video.
  13. Not to raise your expectations or anything, but Romantic Warrior is one of the greatest albums of all time.
  14. It's bloody cold and windy up here as well, so I just had some tasty tasty murder meat soup pho.
  15. (shudders sympathetically)
  16. (shakes fist skywards)
  17. Holy shit! Looks like they remastered Electric Rendezvous, too!
  18. That looks like it was a custom graphics job for the last CanJam.
  19. You found sepia works best? Nice!
  20. I'm going to begin using "Schmerzgrenze" as an expletive. In other words, I don't understand the verbage, what kind of driver is that?
  21. In other words, I don't think SuckItALO is doing much business right now. You know, for overworking the help.
  22. Looks like the answer is yes -- you may have to put some server software on your computer, but...well, start here. As soon as I saw, "...to serve the files to the Oppo...", I was happy, and stopped reading -- I can always go back once I get one and follow along, if I can't figure it out.
  23. 3 moar bags of Peppercorn Ranch Sun Chips -- must have gotten them at Wegman's, 'cause that's where I got these.
  24. Everything Everything, Man Alive I dl'd this purely on a whim, and it is bizarrely good. Think Daryl Hall & Peter Gabriel's twisted offspring on lead vocals (he does this weird thing where he's constantly changing between his head voice and his chest voice, but not yodeling or crooning, just singing in this really bizarre range for him), and some 90's R&B backup band on instruments -- yet, they're not just some backup band, but the kind of backup band that have real chops -- prog-level chops -- but they're holding back when they're playing R&B, and they fully let go on this album. It's prog, but it doesn't sound like any prog I've ever heard before. There are disco beats, electronic claps, and all sorts of things. Just strangely good. Going to have to listen to this again.
