I’m going to abuse my powers as admin and sell some coffee: I have 40 lbs of coffee available to purchase. It’s a medium roast rwandan coffee that I taste blueberries in. It’s the first coffee I thought was worth selling under my brand. From the bean wholesaler: Rwanda Natural - Huye Mountain Sweet, black grape, blueberry, boysenberry, chocolate Huye Mountain Coffee is a private washing station established in 2011 to provide farmers in the region with access to international markets and buyers of specialty coffees. Around 1,330 producers deliver their freshly picked coffee cherries to 26 collecting stations around the Huyecommunity, where a truck visits daily to collect the farmers' coffee during harvest season. This unique coffee comes from the Huye Mountain in the Huye District, in Southern Rwanda and grown above 1,900 meters. The natural process employed at Huye Mountain involves meticulous cherry selection and hand sorting prior to drying. Drying is done on raised African beds for between 14 and 28 days, depending on the weather, and the coffee is turned regularly. Country of Origin Rwanda Harvest Season 2021/22 Coffee Grade RWA CA NAT SPL SD Bag Type Grain Pro / Ecotact Plant Species Arabica Processing Natural/Dry Processed Variety Red Bourbon Region Huye District Farm Name Various smallholders Growing Altitude >1600m Climate Tropical savannah Soil Loam
It’s $40 for 2 lbs, shipped via USPS. I’ll roast and ship in the next week or so. Paypal to:

How small is your oil tank? I've never had an oil tank that wasn't good for at least a month of actual winter use
-
thanks, it was a good day

My recommendation is keep using a big pitcher, and just waste more milk. It's way easier to get good texture with enough volume to give you time to make changes
-
Steam isn't the decent's best attribute. The DE1-XXL is apparently better, but only in that it's a more powerful heater.
-
That really sucks. They're regularly recommended on home-barista.

I am sufficiently happy with this morning’s oat milk cortado. It’s a nicaraguan limoncillo ethiosar roasted medium light.

So far, I'm happy with the Strega, with no bad shots pulled (out of 8). I'm not convinced I can pull a better shot with it than with the decent, so eventually I'll put them side by side and see.
-
i thought the problem with making it stepless is then it's more likely to drift

my lever machine showed up. There were some initial indications of it’s italian heritage, but once I disassembled it and connected the pressurestat, I was able to pull a tasty, tho slightly long, shot my first try.

according to google translate top line 2.0 CH is english, 2nd line is japanese

I'm 99% going to get a Bezzera Strega. I just asked whole latte love to price match amazon.
-
yeah i’d rather just leave whatever permanently set up
-
It's kinda the opposite of the DE, so I'll have covered all the bases.

I'm currently playing mentally with the idea of a spring lever machine. Since I don't want to move espresso machines between my house and my girlfriend's house twice a week, I'm tempted to get a spring machine for the girlfriend's house.

coffee in a grocery store is often fairly old. You just lose the more subtle flavors as it ages.
-
I solved that by having a grinder, an electric kettle and a french press at my desk, back when that was my schedule. I'd probably do pourover today.

the only non-cow milk I've found to be successful for microfilm is "barista" oat milk
