I took the hopper off my current grinder (a commercial Wega K10), and do individual dosing. This lets me store the beans in a valve bag, so they stay fresh longer. I'm probably going to pull the trigger on the niche zero in the next week or so. I currently weigh the beans in and the grinds out. I'm looking forward to skipping the "grinds out" step when I get the Niche.

https://www.nichecoffee.co.uk Here's the head-case solution to needing a grinder that doesn't take up much space. It's my next coffee purchase.

ground coffee starts losing flavor in about 10 minutes. You won’t see an advantage to switching to pour over if you also switch to pre-ground coffee.

without a good grinder, you're better off staying with the french press method

I'd bet the superluxes were made by Beyerdynamic

I've got the model D, it's great fun. I'm tempted by the poly.

Mine has wooden inserts on the bracelet, but it’s coated stainless. It is definitely an interesting look for a watch. I’d rather have waited until Christmas but she’s going to visit her family in Illinois and I have my kids here in Tn.

My girlfriend got me an interesting watch for Christmas. It’s made from reclaimed whiskey barrels and a miyota quartz movement. 47mm but wears a little smaller.

I went and saw Southern Culture on the Skids last night. I hadn't thought of them in years when I saw the tickets go on sale several months ago. Boy am I glad I bought tickets. They still put on a fantastic show.

I’d bet a raspberry pi 4b plus xbian would do it for less than $75

Has something changed about how high voltage electricity works that would make a new design better than an old one? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
