  1. I've never had that problem, my settings stick. I just tried and verified that.
  2. Send a message to church through ebay, he can set you up wtih exactly what you want for a great price (and way better than the sony mics for the same pricerange)
  3. A 16 bit signal and a 24 bit signal on output are exactly the same, when you're sending 16 bits.
  4. dpa4060s aren't hte clone, they are very good, very sensitive, small microphones. Talk to me about budget and size requirements and I can point you in the right direction.
  5. My experience with the duet says the best setting is to go for about 1/2 volume on line out (not instrument out). Use your ears and find the level that works best for the input on your amp. For the mac, go to audio midi settings, set it to 24/96, and just leave it there. Core audio upsampling is pretty darn good. Always launch itunes AFTER you change those settings. or you'll get the resampling done inside itunes, which is terrible.
  6. lens geometry can't be fixed in photoshop.
  7. I wanted a dairy sink for my alaska kitchen, but it's not practical to custom order things that are that heavy to alaska...

  21. The problem with putting a 5pin directly on the amp is someone will stick a 5pin xlr to 2xXLR3 adapter in it, plug in their fancy headphones, and kill themselves.
  22. What I find works best is to start with a 12 lb sledge, and go lighter as appropriate. You have to be careful to let the hammer do the work tho, don't swing it so much as let it drop on the cups. It's delicate work.
  23. What I like about the pro flickr is the ability to upload any size file, and the unlimited number of files. I'm using it to replace the colo'd system I used to have.
