My local PX has a Omega 2225.80.00 Seamaster that was a special order and returned. Bracelet is small and would need some links. PX is a authorized dealer and it has the warranty card. They are asking $2800 and I might be able to talk them down a bit. Sound like a decent deal or a pass? What do links cost?

I have never seen any sort of discharge from a lithium battery or heard of any. They are the primary type of battery used in military equipment from crypto memory, to gps, to flashlights.Think harsh environments with continual vibration and large temperature swings. More likely paint or metal dust from the contacts. When in doubt toss and replace.

Apparently the Army has changed it's medical policy and the finger wave is now optional. So I dodged that bullet for another year, especially thankful because my doctor has bear paws for hands.

First attempt. Turned out good but the jury is still out if I like a hot pan with olive oil and butter or the searzall better. Any suggestions on prepping the steak before hitting with the searzall?

Looks like a Food Saver then. Not sure I'm commited enough for a chamber sealer just yet. Maybe a DIY venture down the road.

Any one have suggestions on a vacuum sealer for sous vide purposes? Looking to do some longer cooks and the ziplock bags look to be a no-go.
