For cocktails once you are outside of Chicago it is pretty dismal. Two other places that seem cool, The Whistler and The Drawing Room

When you use any kind of paint stripper you have to clean the surface extremely well. Even a little residue will eventually cause bubbles and cracks. It generally happens relatively slowly.

My guess is you did not clean off all of the paint remover.

Just started cooking meat loaf in cast iron and it comes out amazing. Nice crust on the outside and amazingly juicy and flavorful on the inside. Cast ion has become our most used pans over the years. Second Reks' seasoning advice. It is anathema to my cleaning ethic but I have learned to cope.

If you do not need the portability the Emotiva is a no-brainer as Steve said. I use one at work (which I bought from you ) and the other in the home office. The Duet 2 is on my short list but it will have to beat the Pico DAC/Amp, which so far has stood up quite well.
