  1. Absinthe dasher, even nicer, and the opaline is a beautiful color. The gypsy is good and the sweetness works since the alcohol content is still high.
  2. I love the bitters bottle and ice pick. Nice!
  3. Nice Fogcutter Marc and the glass is perfect. The Gypsy 1½ PARTS North Shore #6 Gin ¾ PART St-Germain ½ PART Green Chartreuse ½ PART Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a thinly sliced lime wheel.
  4. Happy Birthday Laine.
  5. Excellent! They looked like an interesting selection plus they are actually semi-local being in Milwaukee. I went with a heavy pour on the rye and scant pours of Benedictine and Cherry Heering and it tasted good. I did notice the lemon after I had almost finished it but couldn't see it was wrapped around a cherry. It was definitely worth trying again so will use the garnish next time and probably a little bitters experimentation as well.
  6. Haven't tried them but just ordered the sampler. Thanks Sounds good. Just made up the proportions and guessed on the glassware. 2 oz Willett rye 1/2 oz Benedictine 1/2 oz Cherry Heering 1 dash Angostura and 1 dash Fee's orange bitters Absinthe rinse Well we returned home from the gymnastics/tumbling awards banquet and I sucked down a Leffe while catching up on the drinking. Decided the Kentucky Porch Wash looked good but did not have any Benedictine so had to make a quick run. As you can see above, I'm back.
  7. Happiest of Birthdays squire.
  8. You do know that diet soda causes brain tumors right?
  9. Oh, #8, perfect.
  10. Happiest of Birthdays, Ian
  11. You can save settings to the presets on the front of the unit which can make things a bit quicker. What is flaky with the SPDIF input?
  12. Nice! Duly noted.
  13. Congrats on the house financing Chris. Banks suck. Awesome Shelly, the story not the drought. Climate change also sucks. Sending good thoughts of biscuits your way Brent. Back problems suck. Not sure about the dance but Gumballhead and Bulleit bourbon do not suck.
  14. I think Shelly has the right answer. It doesn't seem like it will sub well for an orange liqueur. It is also very sweet. Those are awesome Juleps Al, the frosting is great and the carving is awesome. Sophie FTW. I made another Paris Manhattan but swapped the proportions of dry vermouth and St. Germain. Better but I still prefer a regular Manhattan.
  15. Something derbyish?
  16. Glad your back home Al. Tried a Paris Manhattan 2 Parts High West Bourye 1 Part St. Germain Elderflower liqueur 1/2 Part Dolin dry vermouth 2 dashes Fee Brothers Cherry bitters Stir and striain. Garnish with one (or two) of your favorite cherries. A bit on the sweet side I will make another and adjust the proportions, for science.
  17. Nice. I just finished placing a small order with them.
  18. I'm OK with that.
  19. Alpha King pale ale
  20. Nice cocktail books Shelly. Ordered a little over 13 sq. ft. of granite.
  21. Three words, " undercounter beverage center".
  22. Tuesday or Wednesday works for me. After 8:30 pm central time is better but I can do earlier if necessary.
  23. I cannot accept any packages that large. Words of wisdom.
