Wireless Print Server
So just finished up replacing the old Belkin wireless router with an Airport Extreme. Nice upgrade in terms of speed, range and stability. I do have one slight incompatibility. The Belkin had WPA security and the Airport can use WPA2, which I prefer. My Netgear wireless printserver (WGPS606) worked fine on WPA but will not do WPA2 security. Since everything else works fine with WPA2, I do not want to downgrade the security protocol. So I am looking for recommendations for wireless print servers that do WPA2. Note, I cannot hook the printer up to the Airport as they are located in different parts of the house.

Heh, I'm safe from temptation since they are using juniper berries for flavoring.

What did you do today?
Stayed up to three last night (this morning) moving stuff back into the office after we painted. Now going through a lot of it, determining it's shit and throwing it out.

Congrats on the move Matt. I second Vicki's advice, get a rug and get the music going. @Mike - I see trouble on the horizon, a daughter at UF and a son at FSU

The innocase for the evo does not add much bulk and has a nice compromise between rubbery lint magnet and slick plastic accident waiting to happen. Don't think it will protect it from a fall from 6 ft onto concrete though.

Heh. That's a statement I make every time I buy a new tool. Not that I have any tool as awesome as that mill.

Glad everything worked out Nate and Craig, I know it won't make you feel any better but glacial is the default speed of every academic institution I have been associated or dealt with. Eventually, they do get the job done.

If you had an iPhone 4 the call would have been dropped anyway.

Ayre K-XR Pre and M-XR Monoblocks -- Who's heard them?
Since this is their flagship product I would expect that not only would it be their top priority, but they would be bending over backwards to make things right. Good luck Al, I'm sure the wait, while frustrating will be rewarded with awesome sound.

Camera for Newborn?
I'm going to also say go with something you are likely to carry with you. Most of our pictures are stills and they are taken with our phone cameras or my wifes Nikon P90. If I was looking for a camera now I would probably get a micro 4/3 like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10.

Finally had enough free time today to install a boot camp partition with Windows 7 and Parallels 5.0 on the Mac Pro at work. Parallels is spiffy.

^^^ Safari FTW. I have been really impressed with the workmanship and the attention to little details that just make their bags a real pleasure to use.

Safari, no obsessing for me it was a no-brainer.

Apple airport extreme. Plus my Red Oxx air boss and gator arrived. Since I no longer carry both my netbook and iPad, I think the gator will become my work bag as the iPad fits perfectly in the inner pocket. Not that the metro is huge. I blame Gene for the new obsession.
