Came into Chattanooga on I24 and left on I75. We had already driven about 8 hours with a 5 year old. My guess is dinner would not be pleasant as all he cared about was getting to the motel pool.
Sorry about the flood. Although it may seem counterintuitive, those wetlands are probably helping and not hurting your situation.
Me: Drove from Rome, GA to Aiken, SC and now kicking back with a nice Hefeweisen (Schneiderweisse).
I'm still reserving judgement for when a certain package arrives and getting more familiar with my new source. However, right now I have to say that the HE-60 and 404LE are a lot closer than I expected them to be.
ipeng works well on my touch. Surprised Thrice didn't pipe up about it . The web interface continues to improve and actually works pretty well with version 7.4.x.
Edit: Beaten by Monsieur GPH
This was around 2000 - 2001 in my office at work:
Alessandro MS-1
Creek OBH-11 with SE PSU
Some Teac Mini CD Player on closeout (probably not this one)
CAL Gamma DAC
Still have the MS-1's and wish I still had the CAL Gamma. The Creek pretty much sucked as did the Teac's analog output.
Yes I would. I currently have a $100 membership on Head-Fi and that provides minimal data. Also, if you had somebody with a university connection, maybe even in a biology department, you could look at various NIH grants.
Hmm, maybe it is time for a non-commercial entity to get out there and do some measurements then. Putting more varied expertise on this problem could be valuable.
I still use my netbook quite a bit and will probably use it more now that I have a nice pared-down version of Win-7 on it. But my guess is the iPad will take over most of its duties except as music server since it now has a nice 640Gb drive in there. We'll see though. I am taking it down to SC next week and it will be the only machine I have for a week.
Screen: Yes if you need the real estate on the road, otherwise an external monitor kicks ass. Keyboard: Yes. Trackpad: Absolutely. Just depends how much the size affects your ability to actually use it when you need it the way you want to use it. Wow, that was pretty circular.
