  1. You should be able to get the Toshiba netbook plus upgraded memory and HD and a 19 - 22" external monitor for around $600 if you look closely. The wife uses a 21" viewsonic with her netbook and she loves it.

    Tree-fiddy and a Britts donut.

I want to see his burn-in review.
  5. Ugh ... just got off the phone to replace our malfunctioning DVR receiver. Lost all of the babysitting shows on it. It totally sucks that you cannot back-up the internal HD. You can copy to an external drive, but then it wipes it from the internal drive.
  6. Happy Birthday Dude. Make sure to celebrate with liquor that is older than you because it will never be this cheap again.
  7. Damn, how many times do I have to tell you guys: They use hedgehogs.

Only if we weren't drunk, and what's the chance of that happening?

Isopods and cephalopods are da shiznitz.
  10. Noice, very noice. As for me, some glass:
  11. I really didn't think the post was divinely inspired myself.
  12. My judgement is reserved on the NCI study. As of yet it is not published as a full paper in a peer reviewed journal. I also asked them for a copy of the data and as of today (more than a year later) I do not have it. You can draw your own conclusions.
  13. OK no problem, just PM me your address.
  14. Yep, looks like I have 1/2" and 3/4" braid (don't ask). How much do you need?
  15. Happy Birthday, tall tall man.
  16. The BA is the new guy and I am one of the slow types to determine preferences so it is not in the mix at present. Plus it is not balanced yet so that could definitely throw a monkey in the wrench.
  17. They are K340ish in their amp dependence but as of now the amp(s) that I prefer for each is not the same. i.e. I prefer the GSX (SE or balanced) over the AA for the K340 but just the opposite with the LCD-1 (only SE right now). The new guy hasn't been here long enough for a non ipodbj opinion.
  18. or keep the original pads and modify your head.
  19. I doubt that the foam will have a really large effect on the overall sound. We should have tried it on the TTVJ Fet-A, but a goodly portion of any logic I may have had during the "meet" was washed out in my Glencairn glass. I like it better out of the AA HPA v.1.0 compared to the GSX. The TTVJ and AA have a very similar sound signature based on the short time I compared them at the "We Haz no Joe Grado" meet. I personally have no problem with the fit of the phones but some people cannot get them to fit tight enough or without large gaps between the pads and their head which may cause problems similar to having a poor fit with the O2's. I guess I just have the next size up chosen-one head.
  20. Nah, I have people who do that for me.
  21. The only way I could restrain myself from grabbing more donuts was to keep my hand in my pocket since I am an ambidextrous donut eater.
  22. Duh! He lives on an island.
  23. They use hedgehogs in Scotland.
