They were over at the middle table on the left as you entered the room. The 228s and 238s look rather similar, but I'm pretty sure it was the 238s I listened to.

I listened to them at CanJam on Tyll's enthusiastic recommendation and thought they sounded very good. They're also very light and comfortable.

HD800 versus HF1/2 isn't a particularly useful comparison as the basic character is so different.

I certainly find the treble less troublesome now than I initially did. Whether the phones burned in or my head did is open to question.

The 3.0 firmware is easily worth $10. On another topic, for some reason, suddenly none of the board button images are showing up for me anymore when I browse HC on my iPhone. Just get the little question marks. I can still click the links behind them, but it's a bit odd. Any thoughts why that might be?
