It's my understanding that latex is fine as long as it's labeled 100% natural -- all others are likely mixed with petroleum based plasticizers. Natural latex has many good qualities -- it's antimicrobial, doesn't mildew and dust mites can't live in it. It also never packs down and gives you good motion isolation. Our current mattress is encased coil springs, organic wool, organic cotton and natural latex. Company doesn't ship outside the West Coast but sure there are others making a similar product. As you're finding, I think, if you rule latex out completely the pool gets a lot smaller.

Went out to Guerneville for lunch and a sedate paddle on the Russian River. It was the last day of "Lazy Bear Week" and there were still plenty of strapping, hirsute gentlemen in evidence and drinking bellinis at the Big Bottom Market. (Though I assume many of them are actually big tops.)

Grahym area. Pulled pork and scrambled egg rolls are fuckin' delicious yo.

Fully screwed the pooch. Crutched and cranked up the temperature and still couldn't deliver on time. Live and learn. Made quesadillas for the kids and will try pulled pork hash for breakfast. [emoji37]

Pulled pork tonight. Cherry pellets. Will probably have to crutch to make the dinner deadline.
