Drove up to Clearwater with my lady friend on Thanksgiving afternoon. Pier 60 for the sunset. Dinner at Ella's. Was originally planning to eat at Mema's Alaskan Tacos but was rather sad to find out they closed shop a month ago While in the parking lot remembered Ella's which wasn't a long drive away from Mema's. Spent Friday at Busch Gardens riding some really fun roller coasters. It was the first time visiting the park for the both of us and barring her insistence on going for the water ride in which we both got completely soaked, it was a lovely day . Saturday was spent at the Florida Aquarium and it was rather interesting to see animals we dissected this semester swimming around. Dinner and a Flamenco show was caught at The Columbia. Walked around 7th and Columbia Ave for a while and found an excellent acoustic guitar player at Centro Cantina. I decided to put the camera away after the sunset. There were times when I wished I hadn't but looking back, it allowed me to have the time of my life and not look at the weekend through a little lens. HC, meet Julie Proof... Saying goodbye to what was probably the most amazing weekend ever The weekend marked 3.5 months and her birthday. I like her. I really really like her.

Michael crichtons Micro. He passed away a few years ago and I felt as though I lost a dear friend. Read all his stuff as a teenager and kept up with everything he released along the years. I dearly miss his way of writing. Hopefully they can find way to complete a few other manuscripts e left behind incomplete. Rip old friend

dont have the autoreverse disable button in the car. if i try changing sides it makes a loud grinding noise which leads me to think that it would only work in one direction.

i misunderstood your advice. thought you meant try another sony unit thinking you meant that you had one that worked and i might have just gotten a bum unit. anyhow...

got a replacement unit of the same model but the problem persists. will try an fm transmitter from best buy since i leave on the 24th =/

The word moot is terribly underrated IMO. Very skillful usage there Peter (not sarcastic). I have just plain old jh16s. Love them. Haven't heard any of the new stuff.

Was standing in line at an indoors farmers market. Lovely old couple ahead of me started talking with me. The gentleman had that old raspy double voice one gets when one has a bit of saliva in the throat. I wish I could have had a little more time to talk to him. Anyhow, his wife let out the loudest fart I had ever heard come out of a human body. EVERYONE started cracking up while the poor old lady turned beet red. Here is one I was able to take quickly. The guy was laughing so hard it looked like he was wincing in pain. I missed the moment but caught the tail end. Tried different crops but couldn't really do much with his wife's head popping up at the worst time. Suggestions welcome.

The cables on his r10 still haunt me from can jam 08. Those things would barely sit on my head.

Grahame I read that but my unit is the one al posted a picture of. It is glued shut and I'd rather get one with screws and try the DIY route instead of cracking the shell on the current one rendering it useless.

Back to amazon it goes. It's a well documented issue with cassette adapters. The decks think that the side is over and tries to auto reverse it which engages the gear inside the adapter that makes the clicking sound. I'll try another one.

it was plugged into the headphone out haj. it would probably be cheaper to just get an fm transmitter than to get a new stereo head unit for the car. any other trouble shooting suggestions or just try my luck with a fm transmitter.

Just tried the adapter. The moment it goes in the deck it makes a constant clicking noise. I tried an old cassette I had and it makes the same noise but only on one side. Tried the adapter in moms car and it makes the same clicking noise but not as loud. I turned off the Dolby feature as instructed. Adapter bad? Deck bad? Send adapter bad? There are tutorials on taking a certain part out of the adapter but there are no screws. The thing is glued shut. Prying it apart will probably break it. Suggestions or thoughts are welcome.

Al the car does have a cassette player. John I meant I didn't care for whether the connection between the car and the unit was one via bluetooth or if the unit physically attached itself to the phone.

I have a few long road trips coming up and while I enjoy listening to the radio I don't particularly care for the idea of having to find new channels every few hours. Cd player in the car only takes 1 cd and I don't have an Aux input. I have an iphone 4 and my road trip companion has an ipod touch (not sure which generation) that i would like to use to play music on but hear it through the car speakers. Never really looked much into it but I don't imagine using it much outside of road trips so don't want to spend enormous amounts of money on it. Road trip is on the 24th so would need to have in house by the 23rd preferably. +1 for Amazon prime. Any suggestions for $50 or so? Obviously if a $5 thingy does the job then I would like to save the money for other things. Dont care for the technology use - bluetooth vs fm vs whatever else is out there. Something that charges the phone at the same time would be a cherry on top but not a necessity - I can do without the charger if a plane old transmitter is cheaper. Thanks
