Meanwhile, and not necessarily "new" news... http://jalopnik.com/top-gear-america-is-here-and-here-its-three-hosts-1793443905 Top Gear US would appear to be dead and now we've got "America" on the way in less than a month.

It was pretty good, but not perfect. Oddity #1 - the thicker part of the brisket was the least tender. Not sure what is going on there. Possibly just a function of being the flat as opposed to the point. Observation #1 - I used too much rub. Not a problematic amount, but more than needed. Otherwise the flavor and smoke were very good so at least I got that part right. Also need to work on my trimming skills. The fat cap I left was a bit on the thick side as it remained on a majority of the pieces but was easily trimmed.

I work for big Gov, Al, remember? I may folks like that cry all the time. Update, now with additional accessories.

I don't, but you have to start somewhere. Besides, the "Texas Crutch" isn't the end of the world.

My guess is not very many for quite a long time.

I realized the other month that I haven't touched my DSLR in almost a year and have taken (in my opinion) some perfectly wonderful photos. So I'm in the camp that says ~90% of the time the phone is all you'll need and a good chunk of that is because the phone will always be with you. There's no camera that can be there when it isn't there, you know? I do look forward to replacing my phone (iPhone 6) with something a little better and admit to being drawn to the 7+ specifically for it's camera. Don't get me wrong, I don't think I've gotten to a place where I'll only use my phone as a camera but it's closer than I imagined it'd be 5 years ago and wouldn't be surprised if we're pretty much there in less than 5. Shooting sports is about the only place I think to bring the big rig and most days it just doesn't happen.

Bummer Shelly, but like you said, there's literally another one around the corner.

Here's to hoping, Jacob!

Congrat, Shelly! That did and sounds like it will continue to move fast.

Noise canceling headphones for portable DVD player
n_maher replied to postjack's topic in Headphones
https://www.innerfidelity.com/content/jbl-everest-elite-700-wireless-noise-canceling-over-ear-headphones I personally don't find that any full-sized headphones isolate enough to be useful in terms of noise reduction so for non-IEMs I'd say active noise cancelling is the way to go. -
Happy Birthday, Justin!

Good luck, Jacob. It's past time something broke your way.
