So it's looking like I'm going to have to travel at least a few times for work this year and as a result I'm reviving this thread and looking for some advice for a good carry-on bag. My Red Oxx mini-ruk will serve "personal item" status quite nicely and I'm hoping to make all of these trips (which are all under 5 nights) without checking a bag. Thoughts? Suggestions? [Edit] There's currently a screaming deal on Amazon on the Tumi Tegra-Lite Max Continental Expandable Carry-On but it seems that its dimensions, specifically the 16" width, do not conform to many major airline's definition of a carry-on (limit of 14").

^^^ I miss working next to a really good Thai restaurant. Mmmmm, chicken cashew nut...

I warned my wife recently that when we get our kitchen redone (hopefully this summer) an Anova will be included in the upgrades.

It's above freezing (just) so grilled pizza seemed like a good idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, so now the exercise we'll be tracking a few guests to show that they are violating the policy. If that can even reasonably be done... and without causing worse issues with your landlord. I guess what I'm saying is I wouldn't make it a big issue until it becomes a problem.

Nicely done!

I've rode both and can't say I noticed much difference, honestly. Nice ride, Jose!

^^^ This. Sounds like a messed up situation and sudden turnover at that level of management is rarely a good sign.

Excellent. Made an egg sammich with it last night which was also very good.

For me it's simple math, either the phone fits in my pocket sitting down (6/6s does) or it doesn't (6+/6S+). Of course I also barely use my phone for anything other than a phone and texting appliance so I'm not exactly their core user either.

International flights are already being impacted. I've got a colleague stranded in Mexico with his family. While that initially sounds fun my experience is that in resort areas finding supplemental lodging beyond your original trip duration can be incredibly expensive and problematic. On the plus side for the mid-Atlantic region - you may get to experience THUNDERSNOW, which is sort of like a Sharknado, but not really.

This. I'm in khakis and a button down shirt and that's standard fare. On rare occasions a tie is required, but never a suit. I hate ties and suits, probably because most have been ill-fitting and uncomfortable to wear.

Here's the recipe - http://www.recipetineats.com/pork-carnitas-mexican-slow-cooker-pulled-pork/. I followed it pretty much verbatim. The cook time, on high in my crock pot, was around 5hrs which seemed to track with the recommendations in the recipe and I can't think of anything that I'd really change. Even using a smaller pork shoulder (~4lbs) there is a ton of of meat for leftovers, not that I'm complaining. In the future there's a pork chilli that I'll be using this for, for sure. In case anyone is curious - the taco construction is homemade guacamole in the bottom, then the pork, then homemade pico de gallo topped with a little cheese on top wrapped in a soft corn tortilla.

You should probably check the Charge HR then if she doesn't want a smart watch. It's much more bracelet sized (my wife wears one as a watch) and should do everything your wife seems to be looking for.

Homemade pork tacos. Very happy with the way the pork came out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^^ If memory serves the Pinnacle was sold a while ago as part of the DAC acquisition.

Bummer Chris, but like you I'm glad to hear that they'll be put to good use.
