Today I learned the value of calling around for car repair quotes. It saved me at least $400 over the original quote because they wanted to replace the whole control arm rather than just the bushings.I also got them to match the dealer for the exact same service and saved $120 right there.

That is my wife's client. She protects his trademark.

Returned to work after little over a week off. 200+ emails and almost none of what I asked/thought to be done when I was out is done. Yay.

Dreamfoam 10" gel foam mattress. I believe they will even do two different densities for free on a king.

I have a memory foam mattress I got through Amazon.com and I love it. I had to buy a wooden base from them separately but after it all went together it is firm and great. A big plus is it was under $1000 and is Certitpur.

We were just talking about that on the weekend as there is a pair of trouble dogs on my preferred route. We ended up modifying the route to avoid them this time around. Unfortunately one of the times I rode past the place (the dogs have charged every time) the owner was out with the dogs and seemed to be fully supportive of their actually nipping my cycling shoe on so I'm guessing that if I pepper sprayed the dogs I'd end up with a crazy person in a car with a gun chasing me....

Today we said goodbye to our huge black walnut. I will miss that tree but it was 90% dead and had to go. At least it was taken away to become lumber.

I didn't have time to watch but I will say that the outcome wasn't what I wanted. I hate when injuries remove the rivals and I would have much rather watched the big 3 duke it out in the mountains. I guess that's how it goes but for me the race has lost some attraction this year.

The loop I did yesterday was about twice as much climbing as what we did before. Either way you guys should come and ride sometime
