I have not ever heard a difference with absolute phase. One channel out of phase, of course, but never when I am just flipping the phase of both channels.

Gotta love the 40dB difference from 10Hz-10kHz. Bet there are still people who use bass boost though.

I was suffering on my basic optimum, which was really only seeing 1.5-3mbps most times, I seem to really need at least 10mbps to be happy. Just basic browsing though, you might get away with it. Why not try it for a month, your ISP doesn't charge for changes in service level, do they? Should just be them changing a setting on the server side and resetting your connection, extremely painless.

Again, because of the acoustic element to the crossover, in the form of the cavity inside the housing that exists in the passive version and doesnt in the active. Nope, all the driver connections are available on the plug, it must have a crapload of pins. You could definitely put a crossover of your own here, but you couldn't just use the standard JH1x crossover because of the missing acoustic elements.
