  1. Yeah, that sounds like bad times Aardvark. Hopefully you can do as Nate suggested or something. FIFY (and most of HC).
  2. Snapped forks/top tubes/seat posts/ect. are bad times. Seen firsthand the result of the last one during a downhill race, didnt look like much fun.
  3. Not sure, I strongly suspect the paper needs to be removed, but I would be pretty curious to see a pic of it before you do so.
  4. Most routers I have seen will not clear that sort of data on a simple power cycle, rather requiring a hard reset to do so. Of course, this is a headphone forum, so I feel obliged to suggest a shovel.
  5. Yup. Still gotta deal with the pot, but that should largely equalize things.
  6. Yeah, supposed to get more snow at home tomorrow and Wednesday and apparently they are predicting heavy snow here in Boston on Wednesday. Stretch, looks like you just made it out in time.
  7. Looks like it was pretty bad at home, got this pic of my car.
  8. I think he probably plans to turn them into a dac.
  9. Happy birthday Jeff! Super Bowl is today?
  10. What, you dont always wear a grounding bracelet?
  11. Nothing here in Boston, so perfect timing on that trip.
  12. I have used all three, all were quite good. For more general screws I need in larger quantity, I often go ebay. As for the other issue, if it is really bad you could fill the hole with epoxy, drill slightly small, then tap.
  13. They dont replace the cups though, so you wouldnt get the same effect. No idea what a custom metal cup would run, might not be too bad in the quantities they would be looking at. At that point though, why bother with using any grado stuff? If you can make a SR325 sound like a completely different and better headphone, what possible reason would you want to keep the grado design?
  14. Woot Ari! I presume this means no T1 then?
  15. Didnt actually use my car for the drive, flew into Montgomery, AL Sunday and drove my grandmother's buick. Wish I had my car. Did get into a bit of snow in VA on Tuesday, but not too bad before we pulled off for the night.
  16. I said pretty much. K1000 are one of the exceptions.
  17. Indeed it is, like 1200 miles. Most I have ever driven, by quite a ways. All in an unfamiliar car, to boot.
  18. I guess it is time to point out that pretty much all good headphones are already terminated to 5 pin plugs.
  19. Made it in today. Day 1 was Montgomery, AL to Cleveland, TN, and I hung out with Brent for a few hours in Chattanooga, then on to Harrisonburg, VA, and today made it all the way into Reading, MA. Glad that drive is done.
  20. Flew into Montgomery, AL, and hung with the grandparents.
  21. I think we can probably agree that proper replacement of old electrolytic caps=good, dumbass modders=bad.
  22. Which Adcom? I have schematics for the GDA600 and GCD750. Neither have any UA dejitter thingie though.
  23. I think there is some standard, IEC or something, which specifies a 5 pin xlr for balanced headphones. It does make a good deal of sense.
  24. Ouch. Might make the drive north very interesting, hope not.
  25. Yup, spent 45 minutes shoveling the drive today, 6-8" but it was a nice, light powder.
