  1. Sunao Wada Quintet - Blues for Bird Live recording full of swing. Excellent sound quality too.
  2. On other forums I've read raving comments about the combo K701 plus Musical Fidelity V8. Never managed to try it, and the V8 isn't a tubes amp, so go figure, but if anything known to man can make those bitches sound like music, it must be that amp
  3. ^Good stuff Grant Green - The Complete Quartets with Sonny Clark
  4. Would you be able to make pocketknives? I mean something in the basic but good looking side of things like these
  5. I'm sorry for your loss, Al. My earnest condolences. I'll rise a glass to your mom and you.
  6. Best wishes Gary!
  7. No need of food these days, just pills.
  8. Oh what a clever and entertaining first post dear newbie
  9. Congratulations, it looks great. And it sounds!!! Amazing
  10. Walter Bishop Jr. - Coral Keys
  11. You must be damn bored or damn curious.
  12. Spanish gang is having these same doubts, but we decided to get a few, or at least knowing how much they'd cost.
  13. Awesome!
  14. ^ These type of things are so sad and unfair

    Audeze LCD-2

I know, but a designer should know he/she cannot please everyone, so must stick to his own principles, not to the "complains" of some customers who seem to miss what other headphones do. If you like other phones, buy them.
  18. Speeds at work, where I've been not able to use internet for a while, due to their giving new login credentials. I wish I had this at home, though there things have improved quite a bit.

I'm not sure I like this approach to headphones design and built: For the frequency response plot I'd say they haven't increased the treble response but reduced the mid-upper bass output. So I wouldn't expect the resonance in the treble to be gone.
  20. Cool, thanks! It more likely will be my brains, as usual
  21. Did I ever tell you that you're evil? Especially for the new monitor part Thanks for the reply and the link. Interesting reading. Point 1 is one of the reasons I'm taking so much time considering the DSLR thing. On one hand I want something a bit more than decent. I really don't want that poor results discourage me from doing something that I really enjoyed many years ago, but I'm not that sure I'll keep enjoying--there are other limiting factors into play--. On the other hand getting good gear which is doomed to be obsolete in a couple of years isn't my favorite way to spend money. Otherwise I think I had got the K-5 or a D7000 a few weeks ago, then seeing if the whole photography thing is as rewarding as it used to be, and I still have some skills. I feel as though using film there were less variables and things were simpler, more manageable.
  22. Happy Birthday!!!
  23. We'll see. Maybe it's not the best moment to buy a Pentax
