What is the default bias for the he60? I wonder if the different bias from the 5 pin stax jack will effect the measurements.

Oh cool I've demo'd those. Pretty nice speakers actually. Why are you using thier bass as reference material for what HP bass should sound like? IME dynamics typically exhibit more body in the bass region but electrostats present much more detail/texture/are less monotonic.

I'll take 3 6 pin and 6 5 pin

I like to use a piece of normal printer paper. Tracks the best and is dirt cheap. You just have to replace it every month or so.

I use an extension cord and curl up in a ball in the corner while I plug it into the outlet.

Ok I'm not the only one I don't think the 4070 is super detailed, certainly less than Omega/Omega2/009 and I'd probably throw the Lambda Sig in there aswell. As for Sigmas, they might not have the best extension but they have the most tonally accurate midrange IMO...the SR009 midrange actually reminds me of the Sigmas.
