The only recording I have Accardo is the Four Seasons. It has become my favorite version. Sad to say, I have not heard him otherwise.

For new gear for the first listen I try music I know well and truly enjoy. The first two songs are usually Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and "Spring" from Vivaldi's four seasons. Does it sound right? Was it fun? Did I enjoy it? That's really what I'm looking for from Zep's classic. Same questions with Spring but now I'm looking for PRAT and if Salvatore Accardo's violin has the resonance and tone I'm expecting. Then on to female vocals. I've been to one meet. Only had time to listen to music other people brought, much of what I was unfamiliar with.

Calling and talking directly to Todd is one of the best parts in dealing with him. I sure don't want to speak for him, but I think he truly enjoys talking to his customers as well. Give him a call. He'll work with you.

I would have liked to see the power output of he P1u match that of the P1. Balanced outputs and a remote would have been nice.

Just returned from camping. Been at an RV Resort since Thursday. Not my style of camping but they had one of the nicest swimming pools I've ever seen. Hot tub. Cookout on the patio. Ice cream social. Game room. TV lounge. Fitness room. Oh yes, they also had campsites that weren't too shabby. One of the quietist parks we've been to, as well as one of the cleanest.

I really feel for you guys Lifelong Lion fan. Lions = FAIL. The best I can ever hope for is mediocrity. As long as William Clay Ford owns the team the Lions will never be a top team. Doubt I'll have to eat those words, and I'll be all too happy to if I'm proven wrong.
