  1. Woo Hoo indeed!
  2. Hey Ricey! Glad to see you posting today, and hope you're doing well. Cheers!
  3. I hope he did tell them wait until the pitcher threw a strike during the Walkathon. Posey got a single with 2 outs and then Holland threw 11 straight balls, got a pity called strike, then threw another ball to walk in a run. The next new pitcher came in and walked Uribe to force in another run. It was demoralizing to the Rangers and this is war! Also, there was another single, a double and a triple after that in the same 7-run inning. It was glorious for us because the Giants win an inordinate amount of games by 1 run. Cushion felt good for a change. EDIT: I forgot the best part. Some guy had a sign outside the park after the game with Chuck Norris and the words "Walk 'Em Texas Rangers." Pretty fast work. I was kicking myself for not bringing a real camera of some sort. Too much going on, and I was lucky that the trial day was short and on some level amazed that could swing it. I ran into an attorney from my old firm in the beer line before the game and he was aghast when I told him I had just started a trial the same day and was at the ball game. I didn't tell him that there was no court today because it was more fun to let him think I am more crazy than I am. Have fun in D.C., Biscuit Brent!
  4. Jim, what are the bottles 1st and 3rd from the left? Looks like fun times for sure. I bought a World Series t-shirt for my secretary, a WS black and white baseball for my mom, and an official WS baseball that was "on the field" (prpbably in a large pallet of similar balls).

  6. I knew you could do it! Sorry about that Wayne.
  7. Watched the Giants pwn the Rangers. The bats tonight, they had no might, on that ole team from Texas! Suckit GWBush! Oh yeah, and I started trial in a $9 billion case today too. Wearing a black suit and orange tie.
  8. I just can't picture you as the Gimp, Steve.

  10. Quorum has been achieved and I say we should stop the equivocating shenanigans (at one time caused by my issues). This meet should be set in stone for December 9-13, 2010. Come early, stay late, as Gene said. Let's do this! Oh, and Shelly, Steve, Scott, Nate, Ryan, Doug, Jim and any other nay-sayers or maybes had better figure out how to get themselves there or else expect dark-clad individuals with burlap sacks to drop in to assist. And that goes double for Stretch (because he's so tall)!
  11. I think you'll like that Ransom Mike. Good stuff.
  12. I shouldn't be a factor on the date choice, either, and I have just decided that I am available the weekend of Dec. 10-12. Hopefully this will allow lots of participation and not exclude people.
  13. Just kidding because I saw your post in passing while working late again. I could potentially make the meet the later weekend but it would require me to dial in to a lengthy partner meeting or delegate an issue I am supposed to discuss. I'm not saying I won't do it, but it might be impolitic.
  14. But it's an easy choice. You guys have fun. :/
  15. I just held an Air in my hands today and I am pretty certain that I will be getting one. The 13" screen is beautiful, the case is beautiful, and the thing is lighter than my ipad and wireless keyboard and is made of actual air compared to my shitty Dell work laptop that is breaking my back on every work trip I take. Before touching it I wasn't even thinking about it.

  17. Pretty wicked combo, there Shelly. Partying with you could be dangerous!
  18. NUMBER ONE ANSWER!
  19. Those are very cool Dinny. And I shouldn't be looking at them while getting ready for trial. Now playing: It was good and had a different feel on a couple tracks than the archetypal Ray album, and the sound was pretty good. I was rather distracted while playing it last night in my office, so I will definitely have to listen more to have any real sense.
