Damn, just realized that this is right around the same time as Jazzfest in New Orleans. I was thinking of trying to go but I guess I'll have to wait til next year.

I think it would be super awesome to have a Travel Team get together in NO during Jazzfest, maybe next year. Anyone interested?

Planning ahead and renting houses or whatever -- through Airbnb or similar -- would be cool.  I haven't been to JazzFest but love NOLA, so I would be up for exploring options.

I used to live down the road there, incredible food! Ok tentatively receiving the contract today. Should have some hard data on room prices soon. I'll be staying there the 3rd and 4th myself. If anyone might be flying in let me know, I might be able to pick you up at Hartsfield. BTW Friday traffic in Atlanta can make traffic in LA look Kansas on a Sunday afternoon.

For anyone staying at the hotel it would probably be a ton easier and faster to just take the gold line on MARTA out towards Doraville and pick them up from whichever stop is closest to the hotel. Friday traffic is no joke, but I can shuttle people around as needed too.
