Running Again for St. Judes

Featured Replies

So Karen is running the Chicago Marathon for St. Judes on October 12, 2014. This is the sixth straight year she has run it and she is now older than I was when we met. As parents of a child who had some issues at a young age (but thankfully not anything that required a visit to St. Judes) this is a charity that is very close to our hearts. I am a little late in posting this year but if you can donate, that would be great, but well wishes are also very welcome. You can donate at the following link:

Thanks for the support.

Wonder Woman x 6!  Awesome record, Karen.  Have fun and run safe!

Sweet! I just bumped her over a grand! Way to go WW!

You guys rock.

She still wears parts of the costume but she is still Wonder Woman even without the costume.

Only three more days! It will be good to get out of town and not have to sit in an open field.

Good luck Wonder Woman!

Finished! 4:45:54 :)

You or Karen?  More importantly, what were you drinking while Karen was running?

If it was me you would have to add about 20 hours to the time. Today I had a Goose Island Matilda with lunch and nothing else as I was driving home.

That's pretty good, I'd be gasping for air (flopping around like a fish out of water) after 100 yards with 5L of oxygen on board. We're all proud of her!
