  • First day in two months the high has been below 55 and first day in almost 3 its snowed.  Hopefully this bad luck isn't a sign of how things will go with the new toy i just took delivery of..

  • I learned a ton and had a blast at my Driver's Academy class on Saturday. There were 24 students, about 16 of the 24 were teens and young-twenty-somethings and the other 8 of us were older drivers. Fo

Ford Mustang GTD drives under 7 minutes (6:57) on the Nürburgring Nordschleife (the Porsche 911 GT3 did 6:55):

Yeah, I doubt they are pleased with the GTD time. Barely beating the base GT3 was not the target, especially when they have over 300 more hp.

So will @HemiSam become  EVSam or not?

That left a mark, Grahame...lol.

I have seen some pretty nifty electric track cars over the years...not many, but a few special ones.  This Charger is not that.

More power to whoever wants to own one (no pun intended...well, mostly).  It just won't be this camper...

From my last autocross event. I’ve since modified my seating position to get lower in the car. I like being upright, but I had to adapt a bit to get more of a sports car position to get my head lower.

I got smoked by all three Miata’s in this field, but they all had semi-slicks and I’m in street tires. This was the last event of the year so all the good drivers came out to compete. Much to improve in the 2025 autocross season!

If you ever feel like spending the money, Hoosiers....don't bother with the others.  We've been trying different brands and while the Hoosiers are a bit tough to get a hold of since production is limited, and they are a few more bucks than the alternatives, they are soooooo much better.

Great to see you have fun!

Either those or RE-71-RSs seem like the play once I get a new set of wheels.

Max’s car control and placement is insane. Leaves Dave for dead immediately because he is going all the way out to the edge of the kerbs and then some. To the surprise of no one.

Watched mainly for the sound.

That could be Spain, I didn't manage to see the letter to the left over the blue ribbon in the license plate. Besides the acceleration I didn't find it especially unique.

I recall Singer's early cars and being somewhat shocked at how amazing they were and how pricey they were.

Probably one of the best investments car wise looking back...they seem to do little but rise in value and haul ass elegantly.

It's an interesting progression. I think I'd prefer a naturally-aspirated engine (500 hp is more than enough for me) from Singer, but some people love the boost surge and turbos are a signicant part of the Porsche 911's heritage and their legacy in racing.
