October 10, 201510 yr Anyone have any experience with German tax stamps that could guess how old this is?
October 10, 201510 yr The only real telling thing is that it is listed in both Deutsche Mark and EuroThis would not have been done before 1999 - and I would assume not to far after 2002 (when the Euro replaced the currency all together)Fixed rate since 31 December 1998Replaced by €, non cash 1 January 1999Replaced by €, cash 1 January 2002-28 February 2002The conversion on the stamp is at the fixed rate - € = DM 1.95583I don't know the MO 176 code - looked for it. Could be something for the year (MO) and 176th day.
October 10, 201510 yr In some countries like Spain, they kept labelling prices on both currencies for a few years, but I don't think any later than 2005. Old people still keep converting euros into pesetas :juer:
November 3, 201510 yr I like everything on this page and wish I had the time to sit out inmy back yard with a glass of Cognac and enjoy them all.
January 11, 201610 yr I think the Rafael Gonzales label might be a bit nicer, especially in that vitola. I hate people that use that word.
January 11, 201610 yr but but but it's the Spanish word for that, I know no other Heh, you are free to use vitola AND marca though cigar snobs that use them are typically annoying I have found
January 11, 201610 yr Most snobs are just ridicule. Is there an English word for vitola meaning just that, the tape with the brand name/logo around the cigar? BTW, don't the snobs say "puro" for cigar?
January 11, 201610 yr Author I'm a snob, but I don't talk about my cigars, I just buy them and smoke them.
