Simple Sunday bake.

Not as much oven spring as I would have wished for but it should eat.

Last step in fondant potatoes is to put them in the oven, so currently baking these.

 

Flourless Chocolate Cake

It's custard night. Quiche with chevre, potatoes, and chives. And a tarte with creme pat and peach compote.

Do pizza ovens count?

^hmmm how would it work with a loaf....

Today's bake, happy with the oven spring this time.

Simple country loaf with a bit of oat flower flour added. 36 hour fermentation process wild yeast bread.

Those wild yeast are hard to wrangle!

I mean seriously, what else could go wrong?

Also, it's strawberry season so shortcake is on the menu for dessert.

Having friends over tomorrow, needed dessert.

What are they going to eat?

Ribs, pulled pork, and sausage also on the menu.

Simple morning bake, wheat and oat flour.

Bourbon pecan pie. 

 

I, unfortunately, don’t have a photo of the apple pie I baked yesterday, but I do have proof it briefly existed as I tried to catch with a non-glove hand during a removing from oven mishap. Also as I’m missing fingerprints currently, now would be the time for crime suggestions.

Thanks. Losing the pie sucked, but the burns were fire.

You didn't eat it? A floor would have to be pretty dirty to keep me out of an apple pie.

Most of our guests switched to other pies, but I was determined. That said when juggling pie parts the fallen crust had a closer parameter than the apple slices and juices which took flight. Saved mess ratio was a little off.
