June 19, 200818 yr Author comment_131485 hmm, there is a mod available to allow attachments in pm's but it's nearly two years old, not sure i want to bother trying it. Report
June 19, 200818 yr comment_131490 I would think that would be bad for your server, as I doubt many of the attachments would be non-audio related Report

June 19, 200818 yr comment_131494 Umm, what happened to the edit function? I wanted to add a smiley to the last message, and I got nothin. Report
June 19, 200818 yr comment_131495 I'm guessing that Todd clamped down on the edit window. Although less than 1min seems rather short. P.s. I added a smiley for you, who knows if it's the right one. Report

June 19, 200818 yr comment_131577 not touching that post above me When I click on threads that I have read, they do not go to the last page or preferably the first unread post automatically. Is this something I can configure, or?? Chris Report
June 19, 200818 yr comment_131586 User CP > Edit Options > Thread Display Options > Thread Display Mode Linear - Newest First. I tried it, but it was cramping my style, so I go chronologically. Report
June 19, 200818 yr comment_131588 Yes, I tried that as well. It lists the posts in reverse order. I was thinking more along the lines of (from the thread modes help text): The administrator can also set up the forums so that each thread you read is marked in the database. If this option is set, then new threads (or threads with new posts) will not be marked as read until you have actually read them. Report
June 19, 200818 yr comment_131590 I think I misunderstood your first post. Yeah, to my knowledge, there isnt anything exactly like the 'view unread' of the old software. I just always click on "new posts", until I figure out something better. Report

June 19, 200818 yr comment_131595 Forgot to mention, look for this just below the new threads: The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts. Report

Is this something I can configure, or??Actually, that's largely a function of where you click. If you click on the right, in the column where it says 'last post', on the right-arrow, it'll take you to the last post. If you click on the left, where the down-arrow is, it should take you to the last unread post. Grawk had a picture of this, I believe. Edited June 19, 200818 yr by Dusty Chalk Report

June 19, 200818 yr comment_131620 it appears that if I click on the check mark to the left of the thread title that it does what I want (I think?) Report
June 19, 200818 yr comment_131629 You mean, down-arrow, yes, that is what I was trying to say, when I said, "triangle". (I've since fixed my post.) Report
June 25, 200818 yr comment_133640 will we be getting buttons that do etc? I don't remember all the codes so it is pretty difficult to do some things. Let me know if it is actually there because I do not see it. Report
