September 4, 201016 yr comment_385581 Can't go wrong with either. Nex-3 has better low light performance but it uses proprietary sony E-mount but you can buy adapters for M and m4/3 mounts. The e-pl1 has a nice optional viewfinder. If I were planning to use the kit lenses, I'd go with the nex-3. Report
