I probably won't be coming back to it too often, a bit bizarre even for Patton. Mostly Italian pop stuff with an orchestra/chorus. Minus the orchestra and chorus section I think it would have been very good, his vocal parts are very very good the rest was superfluous.

No, that's my point, anything that could be described as "pop" is probably more traditional than anything else he's done, including Faith No More. Am I misunderstanding what you're describing? Never mind, I'll just go listen to it from somewhere, find out for myself.

Plenty of live clips from the new album on Youtube, and I prefer to listen to them that way since his facial expressions add to the music.

And calling pop music bizarre is like my opinion man. Avantgarde metal is perfectly normal
