November 7, 200916 yr looks great. you're making me want mine even more Does this help? I certainly feel your pain. Just be glad you were waiting a matter of days, not months like those of us early adopters. They are worth just about any reasonable waiting period I can imagine, FWIW.
November 7, 200916 yr Damn you Peter, damn you! I do agree that it is nice that I only have to wait till Monday, but damn, I want them.
November 7, 200916 yr I decided between three colours black, carolina blue, clear. I took translucent black.
November 7, 200916 yr Oh, no worries, these things obviously suck. Yes, and remember the following cons as well. * Takes time to get ahold of. Since you first have to get ear impressions at a local audiologist and ship these impressions to JH Audio in the US. First then they can starting making and in turn shipping it your way. You can not just drop by a local store and pick them up. * Low resale value. Since they are custom mold to your ears and will most certainly not fit anyone else ears. Someone way be able to refit them, but the selling value will be low. * Possible fitting issues. Some complain about improper fit. Hence they need to be shipped back to JH Audio for adjustments, then hope for a proper fit the second (third, ..) time. * Smaller sound/head stage. Its sound/head stage is not quite on par with some of those full size headphones.
November 7, 200916 yr These also are not going to last as long as something like staxes and are not going to be repairable if something other then the cable breaks.
November 7, 200916 yr These also are not going to last as long as something like staxes and are not going to be repairable if something other then the cable breaks. Just FYI, my post was tongue-in-cheek comment from a post in HF.
November 7, 200916 yr These also are not going to last as long as something like staxes and are not going to be repairable if something other then the cable breaks. actually they are very repairable
November 7, 200916 yr Just saw the thread on head-fi. actually they are very repairable Oh yeah, I was thinking of DIY repair. I'm sure JH Audio could remove an the offiending armature and remold them.
November 8, 200916 yr I'm curious where he heard the universal demo? Was there a HF meet over there or something?

November 8, 200916 yr I'm curious where he heard the universal demo? Was there a HF meet over there or something? If I don't mistaken, he heard the demo in the Denmark meet.
November 8, 200916 yr This MrGreen really gets under my skin. I try my best not to use HC as a place to gripe about HF, but I do hope to ruin this guy.

November 8, 200916 yr He's bugged me for a month. I tolerate most folks, because I know that if I met them I would like them. I don't think I would like MrGreen.
