Similar cut, but my friend the butcher calls it a David Earl after his dad.  

Post didn't go through this morning.  Took leftovers from last night and made breakfast.

 

No boiling involved... this time.

Three minutes each side on the grill, just went into the oven for desired mediumness.

Carbpocalypse. But they did make it all from scratch themselves --  dough, sauce, custard, frosting etc. -- which is character building I think.
