In the parlance of our times, RIP Bozo. Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart, whose ministry was toppled by prostitution scandals, dies at 90.

My 007's might be here by Thursday but in the meantime I found these pics: Same cable as the SR-X1 and I really like the all black flight case...

The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume 2 by Barbra Streisand (2025) https://album.link/vjjdhqmm20qzk Example: So I thought I would give the new Barbara drop a listen. Mainly because the Album cover photo scared me a little bit (creepy no?). I am not mad at it, but there isn't anything really there as well. A series of 'nice' tunes and 'nice' production. Along with creepy love songs with Sam Smith and the like. What I didn't expect was the Credits --- This for ONE song! And the entire album is like this. Crazy: One Heart, One Voice -- Barbra Streisand/Walter Afanasieff Charlie Midnight, Composer, Lyricist Peter Asher, Producer Bruce Dukov, Concert Master Jay Landers, Composer, Lyricist, Executive Producer Steve Orchard, Recording Engineer Everton Nelson, Orchestra WALTER AFANASIEFF, Composer, Lyricist, Producer, Keyboards, Piano, AssociatedPerformer Simon Rhodes, Recording Engineer Jochem Van Der Saag, Mastering Engineer, Programmer, Mixing Engineer, Recording Engineer William Ross, Conductor, AssociatedPerformer Erik Lutkins, Recording Engineer Gina Zimmitti, Contractor Brian Garten, Recording Engineer Wesley Seidman, Recording Engineer Mariah Carey, Vocal, with Steve Genewick, Recording Engineer Shawn Murphy, Recording Engineer Michael Aarvold, Recording Engineer Ivy Skoff, Contractor, Coordinator Nathaniel Kunkel, Recording Engineer Barbra Streisand, Executive Producer, MainArtist, AssociatedPerformer, Vocal Ariana Grande, Vocal, with Andrew Synowiec, Electric Guitar Adrian Bradford, Recording Engineer Erik Swanson, Engineer Whitney Martin, Contractor Daniel Cullen, Engineer Paul Blakemore, Mastering Engineer George Oulton, Recording Engineer Dmytro Gordon, Engineer Greg Foeller, Engineer Lou Carrao, Recording Engineer Alisse Laymac, Engineer Colby Donaldson, Engineer Dylan Waterhouse, Engineer Josh Kay, Engineer Mirza Sheriff, Engineer Nick Hodges, Engineer Marta DiNozzi, Engineer Kristina Fisk, Engineer Nolan Bacardi, Engineer Barbra Streisand with Mariah Carey & Ariana Grande, AssociatedPerformer (P) 2025 Columbia Records, a Division of Sony Music Entertainment

Tire rack dot com also a good source to check. Thankfully there is so much price transparency in tires that it’s hard to rip people off anymore, at least on price. The rip off would be up-selling on features you don’t need.

I love Piazzolla, and was just starting to listen to some Nuevo Tango (or Tango Nuevo, I don't know which is more correct) the other day, but not familiar with that recording. Thanks for the rec.

No, but now that I'm safe again, I'm going to compare cost. $395 at Cain's. I believe Costco was $700 for 4 tires.

No pics of the actual dinner (last night) and lunch (today), but had some very yummy sausage. Standalone last night, and in a wrap with apple BBQ sauce today for lunch.

More the weekend, but we got a fatty mass surgically removed from the doggo, but 2 nights in of course she rips out the stitches AND her drain tube (and most likely ate it lol) requiring her to go back in and get stapled but as you can see she is doing well 🤣

Piazzolla, A.: Suite Punta Del Este / Bragato, J.: Graciela Y Buenos Aires / Arizaga, R.: Passacaglia by Camerata Bariloche (1994) https://album.link/8gdjrv5h0tsx7 Example: This was a staple in my high end listening for a long time. I just happen to think about it the other day. It took a little bit to find it on Qubuz, happy I did. I do miss Dorian Recordings, they were a reliable brand back in the day. Edit: forgot to add that it is good on a warm day.

Squid Game Season 3. Binged it over the weekend. Still highly enjoyable.

I guess you got your money's worth out of the previous tires! Be glad you had a spare. A lot of new vehicles don't have one. I went out and bought real tires and rims for both my cars. Getting caught 200 miles from home with a flat at night with nothing but one of those little portable inflators sucks.

Did you order through Costco?

^^ thanks for the reminder. I have been waiting to watch the full 2025 Le Mans, but there have only been highlights. Until now... I have not carved out the time to marathon this yet, but at least I know it is there. :}

Getting a used tire as I type this. Ordered two more Michelin tires for the front. Rear Michelins are still in good condition. Will get those mounted Saturday.

Not attended live, but I've been watching Glastonbury on the TV. Octogenarian Rod Stewart in the Legends slot on the Pyramid. His voice is nothing like it used to be. We saw him live when he was a mere 65 and he was great then. But given his age he still managed an hour and a half. He had a personal trainer back stage the he kept going to from time to time while the band played stuff. And a last night a stunning set by Olivia Rodrigo - a real tour de force aged 22, She has crammed a whole lot into her young life (check Wikipedia) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2lekyx02j4o . Young enough to be my granddaughter, I had to remind myself that Mrs S and I were married at Rodrigo's age!

Went to my previous abode to try to disassemble an Ikea desk. Failed. How humiliating.
