I heard that Stax is still producing some models called 009D or something similar, which feature black casings and replaceable cables, possibly custom-made for recording studios. The replaceable cable design should also be applied to the 009S in the future.

Y'all remember Plants vs. Zombies (2009). One of the most beloved video games ...ever. It had a couple sequels that were nothing like it, and at least one "F2P" online version IIRC. Well, apparently EA shat out a "remaster" last month called Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and it's a half baked, buggy AI-upscaled mess. Now that's a damn shame.

I feel a Speedy itch. Has anybody worn the new sapphire sandwich? Today I'm wearing the Cartier Drive de Cartier Extra Plat. It's my second. The very first one I gave to somebody, at a wake for their grandfather, while very drunk, right off my wrist. I always regretted it, so when I found a brand new one for $2100 I of course jumped on it. It's a perfect watch. I have it on a dark green Hodinkee epsom strap with contrast stitch (the 16m buckle from Cartier that I needed was dear for such a small little piece of metal). I'm glad to have it back on my wrist.

Two episodes are out for Vince Gilligan‘s Pluribus (Apple TV) and they set up a likely very fun season.

Superb sound quality, especially for a live show. Barber isn't the only star of the show. The band is amazing, especially on Black Magic Woman. The guitar solo on that song is like some Allan Holdsworth shit, the percussion kicks in and none of it is lost in the crowd who show appreciation. Ex.
