  1. Past hour
  2. I discovered a 'new to me' YouTube channel. It's from across the pond, and like all things British, has a very British sensibility. Check out... LadBaby
  3. Today
  4. Going to try to do a bday stream with a little music tonight @9pm if anyone wants to join. No worries if you're busy, and subject to change if I don't end up having a voice, haha.
  5. The kingpin mini and rollout canon came in... Kingpin had two right hands, but Frankensteined him into working order thanks to a donation from Maui. Crazy that this stuff from Ali Express came faster than the shark head from a vendor in Ontario. No huge rush though as we postponed the sleepover / D&D party until next weekend due to a bunch of us being sick.
  6. Cara Dillon - After The Morning. Lovely album, love her voice - sweet, sometimes frail sounding but very pure. Just what the doctor ordered after a long week for work. Helped that Andrew's cat June sat on my lap and then shoulder when I laid down. Sample song:
  7. Herbert von and the Berliner boys getting their AntonĂn on.
  8. "I inherited my late father-in-law's system and need some guidance." says a redditor. The system: Some father-in-law. I married the wrong woman. "Knuckles, you're not married." That's besides the point!
  9. Yesterday
  10. I'm afraid it'll start talking to me if I open it up... But perhaps there's a science project in my future to see what happens when I do.
  11. Could be a record setting sample!
  12. I think so
  13. Are you talking 2022 nog, Nate?
  14. Still have some in the fridge and I will admit that I'm absolutely terrified to drink it.
  15. Last week
  16. Zero Mattnog posts since 2023. What a sad state of affairs. I was just reminded that I failed to make a batch again and I am disappoint in myself. Anybody else make some or still have some in the back of the fridge? Is a month enough time for it to gel?
  17. keep your sensor clean
  18. It has been a while since I bought them, but the Russian Mullards worked very nicely in the T2, to the point where the benefits of pricier NOS tubes were marginal.
  19. A small factual statement. I saw in the thread that forum members are also using inexpensive EL34 models, like the Tung-Sol. There are photos of German RFTs and Russian Mullards. I currently own all of the listed quartets. When listening, I noticed that the Mullards (2015) sound significantly better.
  20. ^^^ Man, does that bring back memories from my younger days! Oldest brother was a big Classic Rock, Prog, and Southern Rock fan. This was a staple.... On a related note, I recently found and put on my phone playlist for the car Black Oak Arkansas' "Jim Dandy" -- what a fun blast from the past that was too!
  21. Non-tiny prices. They might be good for a gag gift, e.g., The Notorious B.I.G. - Big Poppa.
  22. I somehow missed this post, but just came across on Target. Dumb, but a little cool to pick up one or two? https://www.target.com/c/tiny-vinyl/-/N-7f0kq
  23. awesome
  24. Maybe the biggest one album wonders ever? Debut is just an absolute, genre-defining classic. Then money, drugs etc. "Love Spreads" is a great song off #2 but the rest of it ...
  25. Check, the word is Check. And if we could embed Instagram reels, we might see how much your avatar is enjoying things!
