That looks great! I did the same thing, using content aware healing and then fiddling with it, but I couldn't keep the lines nearly as straight. Thank you! If the book ever gets made (keep in mind I might have 5 made), you'll get an acknowledgment. Straight out of camera: I really love how the 28mm Summilux looks, wide open. Some people complain about the bokeh, but I think it's rather nice. Maybe not as dramatic as some lenses, but very sightly on reflections and light sources. The Leica jpeg processing is also pretty decent. I really love this little camera.

You can still edit further in PS, but this looks good to me. There is no scientific way to use the content-aware remove healing tool, just a lot of trial and error with the sizing and positioning.

Emission Labs 20B and 300B, is that the 4 pins socket or the octal socket with center tap filament?

To be fair I wanted to use CD only, but I can add this wonder to the comparison from 1973. 😁 This is the best edition without a doubt but the vinyl depends greatly on the cartridge you use (you know that I'm a lover of the Denon Dl 103 and103R)

I guess "original record" for Fragile means first CD edition, or would you be comparing the vinyl too? I'm not a big Yes fan, but I'd be interested in reading your thought about the different releases.

If anybody with photoshop skills is willing, would you take a look at this photo? It's shot number one of the project. I can't retake it because they have subsequently fixed the sign. The photo was taken before I know there was crap on the sensor, so there is... crap on the sensor. I have Photoshopped it out as best I can, but I'm out of my depth. It's sort of worst case scenario: round junk over linear patterns. Attached is a zip with my .psp file after I touched it up and the DNG out of camera. Does anybody have any film projects in the works? I’ll be moving to small town Kentucky, to Danville, specifically, within the next six months, and will be visiting a lot before I move. It’s an historic town surrounded by sprawl. I want to document the storefronts and signs of the historic downtown with those of the sprawl that has grown around it. I envision having a few books made and sold at the local historical society gift shop (they sell lots of boutique local things, so I think it’ll be no issue having some Printique books there, just to share).

To keep my mind busy, I've been spending time reviewing some recordings, for example "Use Your Ilusion II" My favorite work by G n´R. With darker/bohemian and more reflective themes. . Use your illusion II Original record 1991: I think it has a fairly balanced sound, it is the easiest to listen to for a long period of time. It doesn't have any outstanding qualities, but it doesn't suffer from any flaws either. . Use your illusion II Mofy: It has a more "pasty" sound, a bit exaggerated bass and midrange, and treble that in comparison is a little muted for my. In some songs this packaging is graceful but sometimes everything sounds very tangled. At the time I spent €200 on this edition. Beyond its aura of exclusive/limited product, I wouldn't spend them today . Use Your Illusion II Edición Deluxe: A more modern mix, they have removed some noise and improved the stereo effect of the original a bit. The treble is not as high as in the original version. In general they have respected the original recording quite a bit. I've especially noticed Axl's voice, which is usually quite aggressive at times, and Slash and Izzy's guitars (still present on some songs). For about 30 bucks, the deluxe edition seems like a great purchase to me.

Yes it is loads of dosh. But I think it is remarkable that the same company who made and makes affordable decks, decided to launch the original Reference in 1980, and that astonishing piece of engineering last/this year as the new Reference. An original Reference has just sold on eBay UK for £51k in stunning condition

Yep, EL34 for the CCS tubes and (EMS 20B or 300b) for the output tubes Here's the 20B version before power switch/volume knob etc. Kevin already posted what is necessary. Using 20Bs is pretty straight forward, 300b is another story and requires a bit of tail resistor tweaking. Not using either, but you probably figured that out looking at the above pic 🐵

I think a large factor in this is that most people over 54 remember the space race and followed all the moon missions on TV. The middle age group were told about them mostly by their parents. The youngest age group were mostly told about it from their grandparents. The moon missions are the acme of human space exploration. Looking at went on with space exploration in the last 30 years or so, I can understand why the young might not believe in a manned mission to the moon.
