  2. When I am in the store trying some new stuff I just cant choose a single shit from it. Just today tried 10 CD's and only one came a bit closer to my liking, so, I am starting to asking myself: "Whats wrong with me?" I listen to a lot of differ gengres, not all kind, but still, but seems that my collection arent going to be huge, ever... For example R.Blackmore's last project, Blackmore's Night, I HATE every single piece of it. I forced myself to buy double live CD and after just couple of minutes I am done... On the other hand, J.Lord write pretty cool music, after leaving DP. Am I dumb to understand or just to old fashion, inflexible ass:asshat:

I saw some t-shirts by a company called Friend or Foe this weekend and bought one of the Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet shirts they had at the shop. I also saw one that Aardvark would cream over, but it ain't on the website: Check 'em out.

  4. I want to get a Nikon d90 body and most places offer it at around 900 dollars but there are a couple of places that offer it for about 550. Are those places safe to order from? They don't seem overtly sketchy but I rarely order things outside of amazon.

  11. Its not like I discover this by now, hell no, but listen...Sometimes you begin to think about the situations and the things become more complicated than clear. Just today I was having a drink with several people because one of our female collegaue were leaving the firm. Before that, she invited, personally, all that folks, include me, so its not like I am really that important or anything, however not everyone were welcome after all, especially that we are not worked at the same department. To make this story short I will say this. When I talked to her, lately, you having about one thing, but if I were looking in her eyes, I just saw something different...And that diff…

After fours day of sitting around and 33 hours on the same plane I am finally home. Phew. Hopefully I will be able to get some sleep soon. The big shock came when I got home. I am pretty much at a loss for words and don't think I can express my gratitude to you guys enough. Tyrion, Grawk, Zippy2001, and everyone else that helped out, thank you. Wish I could thank you all individually and catch the one responsible (I have my suspicions;D) I look forward to catching up on all the happenings around here once I get over my jet lag. Again, thank you.

Audio recording | Hear the difference | The Economist But in the hands of experts, the best analogue and digital systems are virtually indistinguishable. Warmth can be dialed into digital circuitry. Clarity, spaciousness and purity of tone can be produced by top-end analogue amplifiers. Stuck with equipment that’s less than ideal, it’s no surprise that the vast majority of purists on either side of the tube-versus-transistor divide have their prejudices confirmed. And so the religious audio wars rage on. Heresy? Check out the comments. I liked this one. I have never listened to a valve amplifier. It's a peculiarly American high end hangup in my opinion.

Some of you fine folks may be charitable givers. I've no doubt you have organizations you enjoy working with if you are, but here's another for you to consider. Kiva is a microfinance loan organization registered as a charity in the US. Basically, you choose a loan beneficiary by geographical region or business sector, and loan money to them. Most loans have a repayment period of 12 months, and better than 95% of the loans are repaid on time. They are zero-interest loans overseen by volunteers on site. Those volunteers choose the recipients and assist them in administering funds. Personally, I;m a big fan of microfinance, and of this organization. 100% of your…

Hello gentlemen, I originally posted this topic over at HF and got a couple of replies from those who actually enjoy and the hobby of wet shaving. So now I've come over here to a more refined(?) group of gentlemen who might also partake in the other morning ritual. Ok, so we obviously love our headphone gear and retreat to it at the end of a hard day, so this brings me to how we start our day and by that I mean shaving. For me, there's nothing better than the satisfaction I get out of a good luxurious shave and not to mention getting the day started off right. My routine to get a great shave starts with the use of a scrub that loosens up all that dead skin and s…
