  1. Finding and buying a house was surprisingly easy. Three months of delays getting the sellers out was surprisingly difficult. Today though we moved in.

  2. Glad to hear that re the Virb. I guess I will have to wait until next week's century to find out. I went to the nearest bike store which had some nice stuff but decided a 3 day weekend of riding wasn't worth $200 to me especially when I have so much gear at home. Going to be a fishing weekend instead. Probably not good that next week's century is probably 2x as long as I have done all year. Ended up buying Ben a early birthday present, he tried it out and loved it. He doesn't like the balance bike we got him so hopefully this gets him excited.

  6. I bought my son a foam mattress from Overstock and he liked it. I bought one for my daughter from bed in a box and she has been using for the last three years without an issue. We have a 7 or 8 year old very firm Tempur Pedic which I believe helped cure my low back problems.

  7. Hey Shelly, I meant to post when I saw this last week on phone but didn't get a chance, then forgot. I bought a mattress from overstock.com earlier this year. Looked for specs over name brand and wound up with an 8" mattress with a 3.25lb density top layer. It was definitely comfortable, and once I got to sleep the first night (30-45 minutes) I slept HARD. Fast forward a few months, and I start to notice my typical static back pain has lessened quite a bit. I rarely notice it, and have gone from taking something for back pain from once weekly to maybe once monthly. It was gradual, but I have felt better all around... And this was just a 250$ (after discount codes) mattress. I'm a fan. **BRENT**

  8. Good call to abandon the PSU board. On a more positive note, look what my spare desk looks like these days: Soak test plus seeing how the servo behaves. Finally getting the hang of assembling these though it is still very tricky: These are all reserved but I do have one of these sitting in the US that I really don't want to send back here.

  9. Just picked up this. Seamaster Aqua Terra 8500. Omega has greatly improved their quality, even since my 2004 version of the same watch with 2500 movement. ... I sold my Rolex Datejust and happily used the proceeds to buy this. The automatic Seiko's and Citizen Eco Drives are great.. until you discover Grand Seiko and The Citizen. I have a titanium Eco Drive that I love.
